Meet Karl and Caroline, Local Owners

Railway Metro New world is Owned and Operated by Karl and Caroline Marryatt.

Born and bred Wellingtonians, we love the grocery supermarket business. We both work full time in our store alongside our team to provide you with the freshest fruit, vegetables and daily baked bread, best quality meat, seafood and delicatessen through to an impressive wine and beer selection and not forgetting an extensive range of grocery lines.

New World's Bakers bake much of their bread in store; whilst offsite qualified butchers select the best quality meat. A visit to the Service Deli will leave you spoilt for choice and you are sure to be impressed by the wine and beer selection. Railway Metro New World is a pocket sized full Service Supermarket designed for convenience.

Enjoy all the benefits of the New World brand, including Fly Buys but save time by popping in daily to top up with your daily requirements. The service here is second to none - our fully trained team pride themselves on providing outstanding service and a pleasant shopping experience to all of their customers. Can't find what you're after? Ask any of the friendly staff and they will point you in the right direction.

New World Railway Metro really can provide everything your household requires all under one roof.

We always look for ways to improve our store, so next time you see us please be sure to pass on your ideas and suggestions.

See you in-store soon,
Karl, Caroline, and the Team at New World Railway Metro
