Carrot and potato puree - stage 1 baby food

Cooking time: 10-15 mins

A simple purée to make from staple ingredients, this can be served on it’s own or mixed with apple or pear purée for a sweeter offering.





  • Carrot
  • Potato


  1. Peel a carrot and a floury potato and cut into even sized pieces.
  2. Steam or boil until soft - around 10 to 15 minutes.
  3. Blend the cooked vegetables with a little of the cooking water to make a smooth purée.

Suitable for freezing.
