Mixing vegetables with fruit is a good way to encourage babies to eat vegetables. Apple compliments the squash and enhances its natural sweetness.

- 500g Butternut Squash
- 1 Apple
Method
- Peel, deseed and chopped the butternut squash, put it into a saucepan with a little water and simmer for 7 minutes.
- Add a peeled, cored and chopped apple and continue to cook for about 10 minutes, until tender.
- Blend to a purée to the appropriate consistency.
Suitable for freezing
