Chocolate chunk cookies
Here's a yummy recipe for decadent chocolate chunk cookies with a twist; use a muffin tray to bake them, keeping the cookies separated and deliciously chunky.

- 230g butter
- 1 ½ cups brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 Tablespoon Vanilla extract
- 3 cups plain flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 150g white chocolate buttons
- 150g dark chocolate buttons
Method
- Pre-heat oven to 180degrees
- Grease standard 12 cup muffin tin
- Melt butter, then combine with brown sugar in a large bowl
- Add egg, egg yolk and vanilla extract, stir to combine
- Add flour, baking soda and salt, stir to combine
- Add in chocolate buttons, combine using clean hands
- Using a spoon, scoop out mix and roll into balls (gold ball size)
- Place one ball into each muffin cup
- Bake for 5-10 minutes (until edges start to go golden)
- Let cool in muffin tin for 10 minutes
Remove with a spatula and place on a wire rack to finish cooling.
