Pears with blue cheese and honey
Try your hand at combining simple fresh ingredients like pears, blue cheese & honey to create this classic recipe. Recipe supplied by The Gates Country Lodge.
- 2 ripe pears such as Taylor’s Gold or Beurre Bosc sliced lengthways, remove cores
- 100g Kapiti Kikorangi Creamy Blue cheese
- Runny honey
- Ginger bread
- On a platter arrange pear slices and cheese. Drizzle over a little honey and serve with slices of ginger bread.
