Soused chops
Delightful casserole dish with sweet flavours based around tender lamb chops.

- 1kg lamb shoulder chops
- 1 apple
- 2 medium grated carrot
- 2 Tbsp Worcester sauce
- 2 Tbsp cider vinegar
- 1 tsp curry powder
- 1 onion
- 3 Tbsp flour
- 3 Tbsp brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp Tomato sauce
- ⅔ cup warm water
Method
- Place into casserole dish or slow cooker the lamb chops, finely sliced apple, 2 medium sized grated carrots and sliced onion.
- Then in a small bowl whisk together the flour, brown sugar, Worchester Sauce, cider vinegar, curry powder, tomato sauce and warm water.
- Tip over chops and allow to marinate in the fridge for 2 hours.
- Once baked add to a plate of good old mashed potatoes and minted peas.
