Pineapple bacon bites
These moreish bites are so popular at parties and easy to make. The sweetness of the fresh pineapple with the bacon is just divine.

- 1 Dole Tropical Gold Pineapple, cut into 1-inch chunks
- 2 packs of Streaky Bacon
- 1 Tbsp Pams olive oil
- Optional toppings: Mix 1/4 cup Pams brown sugar with about 3/4 tsp Pams black pepper OR 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
Method
- Heat a nonstick fry pan over a medium-high heat with olive oil
- Wrap each pineapple chunk with a strip of bacon and secure with a toothpick
- Sprinkle the brown sugar mixture over the pineapple bacon bites, OR if using the teriyaki sauce don’t do anything yet
- Place the pineapple bacon bites into the fry pan and turn constantly to ensure that all sides of the bacon are cooked and crisp
- If you are interested in using the teriyaki sauce, brush the bacon pineapple bites with the teriyaki glaze a few minutes before the bacon is crisp and ready to eat
- Serve hot or at room temperature
