Genuine German Horseradish imported in an air conditioned environment to preserve shelf life and flavour. Served often with beef, particularly roasts, the pungent taste and aroma has been around since at least 1500BC. Delmaine horseradish is the grated root ready to be used in sauces, gravies and dressings. Horseradish can be added to creams and mayonnaise for making salads or for sauces for lighter meats. It pairs well with chopped or pureed vegetables like chopped beetroot, tomato passata or mashed potatoes.
