TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Information on how to enter this promotion and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions (Terms). By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms. Entries must comply with these Terms to be valid.
Promoter and promotional period
2. The promotion commences at 00:01 NZST on 1 January 2025 and closes at 23:59 NZST on 28 February 2025 (Promotional Period).
How to enter
3. Entry is open to residents of New Zealand aged 18 years of age and over. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
4. To enter, each entrant must, during the Promotional Period, purchase any Participating Product and visit colgatepromotions.co.nz or scan a QR to take you to the colgatepromotions.co.nz and fully complete and submit the online entry form. This will require entrants to provide certain personal information, including their full name, email address, telephone number, in addition to the name of their Nominated NZ School and Participating Product purchase receipt number and purchase date.
“Participating Product” means: any product from the Colgate Oral Care range purchased in store or online in New World, Pak n Save, Woolworths NZ, or The Warehouse.
“Nominated NZ School” means any New Zealand School ranging from years 1 - 13.
5. Entrants must retain a clear copy of their original receipt as proof of a valid purchase during the Promotional Period.
6. Multiple entries will be accepted, however, each entry must be submitted separately and only one entry is permitted per receipt.
Prize and winners
7. The draw will take place at 11am NZST on 14 March 2025 by Farrimond Limited at 5 Eglon Street, Parnell, Auckland (the Promoter’s Agency) by random electronic selection from all entries. The first 4 valid entries drawn will receive a prize.
8. The prize consists of a $5,000 Player Sports gift card to be donated to the Nominated NZ School nominated by each winning entrant. There are 4 player sports gift cards to be won. The total RRP value of the prizes is $20,000. Gift Vouchers are issued by Player Sports NZ Limited and can be used for the purchase of goods at Player Sports NZ Limited store (14 Melrose Street, Newmarket) and on their website (www.playerssports.co.nz). The Gift Voucher may not be returned, redeemed for cash. Gift Vouchers expire 1 year after the date of issue (14 March 2025.) To use, simply present the Gift Voucher for full or part payment of goods at the time of purchase instore or online
9. Prizes will be delivered to Nominated NZ School's within 4 weeks of the close of the Promotional Period.
10. Prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash.
11. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry or for inaccurate information or for any loss, damage or injury as a result of technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches. If such problems arise, then the Promoter may (where necessary with the approval of the relevant lottery authority) modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the promotion. The Promoter is not responsible for the transmission or receipt of any incorrect information associated with entries, either caused by user error or any equipment or programming malfunction associated with the promotion.
12. If any prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value, subject to any written directions from the various authorities.
13. Winners will be notified by email within 2 days of the draw. The Nominated NZ School of each winner will be contacted by the Promoter and must confirm their acceptance of the prize before receiving it.
14. If necessary, a second chance draw will be held on 28 March 2025 at the same time and place as the first draw(s) in order to distribute any unclaimed prizes. If a winner's Nominated NZ School does not accept the prize, a new draw will be held for that prize . Winners will be notified by email within 2 days of the second chance draw. The names and postcodes of winners will be published on www.colgate.com.au
15. The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of age, identity, email address of winners and any other information from entrants relevant to entry into or participation in this promotion. Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who provides false information, fails to provide information, conspires with others to gain an unfair advantage or who is otherwise involved in any way in manipulating, interfering or tampering with the conduct of this promotion. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding - no correspondence will be entered into.
16. It is a condition of the prize being awarded to each winner that the winner provide to the Promoter their original receipt, or photo of their original receipt, as proof of a valid purchase to enter this promotion.
17. Each winner's use of the prize is subject to the terms and conditions of Player Sports NZ Limited ]. The Promoter is not responsible or liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained by any winner as a result of accepting and/or using a prize (even if caused by negligence), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
Consent and privacy
18. Entries remain the property of the Promoter. Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, image and/or voice in the event that they are a winner in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome) and/or promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
19. All personal information obtained in connection with this promotion will be collected, used, stored and disclosed by the Promoter in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and the Promoter’s privacy policy. The Promoter may use entrants’ personal information from entries to conduct the promotion and for its own future promotional and publicity purposes. For the purposes of notifying each winner, the Promoter may pass each winner’s contact details to the Promoter’s agency, Farrimond Limited.
20. By entering this promotion, entrants’ consent to the use of their information as described above.
21. If this promotion is not capable of running as planned for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, acts or omissions of third parties, technical failures or anything which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
22. The Promoter is Colgate-Palmolive Ltd located at L3 105 Carlton Gore Road, Newmarket, Auckland, 1023 (Promoter).
23. These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
