Catering and gifts

  • Is catering available?
    Yes! Most New World stores can help you cater for almost any occasion. From Christmas dinner to work lunches, we can provide platters, pastries, cakes, hot food, sushi and much more. Ask our friendly in-store Deli Team or order catering online.
  • What is Made2Order?
    Made2Order is a service offered by selected North Island New World stores, where you can purchase food platters, cakes, bouquets, hampers and gift baskets. Visit made2order.newworld.co.nz to place your order.
  • Any gift ideas?

    As well as Gift Cards, many New World stores offer floral bouquets, hampers, cakes and gift baskets. Get in touch with your local store to view their range.

    We also have a great range of premium wine and beer in store, ideal for last minute gifts!

     

Christmas Club

  • What is Christmas Club and how do I join? 
    New World Christmas Club is the easy way to prepare for Christmas. Spread the cost of grocery shopping over the year by contributing to your account regularly and get rewarded for the contributions you make. Go here to join.

Clubcard

  • What is New World Clubcard?
    Clubcard is the loyalty programme for New World customers that helps you make the most of your shopping at New World.

    As a Clubcard member, you can choose to earn either Flybuys or Airpoints Dollars™ and have your own personalised Clubcard to scan at New World checkouts, or have your Clubcard linked to your online shopping account. As well as earning your choice of rewards, you’ll also have access to exclusive discounts with Club Deals and automatic entry into exclusive Clubcard competitions.

  • How do I get a replacement card? 

    If your physical card has been lost or stolen, log in to your Clubcard account at clubcard.co.nz request a replacement card.

    In the meantime, download the New World app so you can use the digital barcode to continue to get rewards, Club Deals and be automatically entered in to any prize draws and competitions.

  • How do I join Clubcard?

Fuel offers

  • About Fuelup
    A Fuelup voucher is earned with a qualifying purchase at New World. Participating store receipts will have the Fuelup voucher attached. You can redeem Fuelup vouchers at all Z service stations. Go to fuelup.co.nz for more details and the latest fuel offers
  • Will I get a fuel discount voucher with my order?

    Yes you will receive a fuel voucher with your order. This voucher will be printed and stapled to your packing slip (which you will receive with your order).

    The fuel voucher value will be determined on the day your order is placed or last edited, not the day that the order is collected or delivered. It can only be used once and the expiry date will be printed on the voucher. 

Gift cards

  • Can I buy Gift Cards online?
    You can buy New World Gift Cards in-store or online at giftstation.co.nz
  • How do I check my Gift Card balance?
    You can check your current Gift Card balance at giftstation.co.nz
  • Can I use my Gift Card at the stores fuel station?
    No. We currently don't offer this service, you will need to use your Gift Card for purchase's in-store.

Health and safety

  • What is a health and safety issue?
    We take all health and safety issues very seriously. We want to know about anything that may affect people’s safety and well-being in and around the store, including hazards, injuries, or issues with the products we sell.  If you spot anything that concerns you in or around the store, we suggest you notify a staff member in store immediately.
  • How do stores address health and safety issues?
    We have a Foodstuffs team that will take appropriate action and liaise with stores to address anything that may occur. To find out more about this you can pop in to your local store and ask at the customer service desk or contact the store here.

Jobs and careers

  • How do I apply for a job at my local store?
    For vacant positions at you a New World near you, go online to our careers website foodstuffs.careers for North Island or foodstuffs.careercentre.net.nz for South Island, or pick up an application form from the customer service desk in-store.
  • How can I see job vacancies? 
    You can find current job vacancies for New World stores, plus support centre and supply chain roles here for North Island and here for South Island.

Lost trolley

  • Found a lost New World trolley?
    If you spot an abandoned trolley somewhere, please contact us here to let us know.
    In your message, please include the location of the trolley, e.g. "corner of main street and high street" or "outside 3 Jones Drive" and the name of the nearest New World store, and we will collect it. 

Online shopping

  • Is online shopping available at my store? 

    New World online shopping is widely available across the North Island and some South Island stores. Shop online on your desktop or download the New World app. Delivery and Click & Collect available. Go to newworld.co.nz/shop to start shopping.

  • I have a question about my online shopping order, my account or payments.

Products

  • I have a problem with a product I have purchased, what can I do? 
    You can either speak to a staff member at the  store you purchased the item from or let us know the details through this contact form for our in-store team to look into this further.
  • I'm looking for a particular item, does my local store stock it?

    Products and availability vary from store to store, so get in touch with your local store through this contact form or directly. If you’re in the North Island you can check out New World Online Shopping.

  • How do I make a product suggestion for my local store?
    Submit your suggestion through this contact form and make sure you select your store. 
  • How do I place an order for my local store? 

    Many stores offer catering and gifts with platters, hampers and more. Check out the store page for an order form or contact the store directly. 

    Made2Order is available at many North Island stores. Visit made2order.newworld.co.nz to check availability and order catering online.

  • Where can I find the current competitions and promotions? 
    Head to Promotions to see what competitions are on right now. You can also keep up with the latest events, specials and competitions by following us on Facebook and sign up to get emails from us. If you’re a Clubcard member, register to get emails here.
  • Why can’t I view the virtual mailer? 
    You can find the virtual mailer here. If you're unable to view, we suggest updating your browser to the latest version or using a different browser to view the mailer. 
  • What are the terms and conditions of New World competitions?

  • Where can I view the winners of previous competitions?
    Winners of Clubcard promotions can be found at clubcard.co.nz For other big New World competitions, we will update our website as soon as the winners have been contacted. 

Scam alert

  • I received a message that I suspect is a scam, what do I do? 

    From time to time we receive reports that New World customers are being targeted by online scams in the form of display ads, pop-up ads and emails.

Sponsorship and fundraising

  • How do I apply for sponsorship?
    New World stores are all locally owned and operated and so there's a true commitment to supporting the communities in which we operate. If you are a local community group wanting to make a sponsorship and donation requests, please contact your local store directly. Select your store and go to the store details page to find their contact details.
  • What charities does New World support? 
    New World has been a Five Star Sponsor of the Starship Foundation since 2014. Through funds donated from New World and through the generosity of New World customers, we're able to make a real difference for many New Zealand families from around the country. Find out more here
  • How do I organise to set up a fundraising stall outside my local store?
