Here's what to watch out for:
Scam alert: 2 February 2024
We are aware of a scam email being sent to customers claiming that their Clubcard has been randomly selected to collect a product, and asking them to go to a "mysummerkitchen" website. Some customers have been asked to pay for postage fee to get a Tupperware set.
This has not been sent by New World, and we recommend that you do not click or share any links, do not ring any number or provide any personal information.

We are aware of fraudulent attempts to imitate New World on Google Ads. For secure shopping, please ensure that the URL you are using for shopping is www.newworld.co.nz.

We are aware of a scam email being sent to customers claiming that as part of a Black Friday promotion, they will receive Tupperware in exchange for taking a survey.

We are aware of a Facebook scam being sent via Facebook messenger under the name "New World Daily Promotional Gifts" and asking customer to answer a survey in order to win "1000 Dollar". Bank scams: 20 June 2022
Some people are reporting getting a phone call from their bank about a New World transaction and credit owing. Please do not give out any personal information to unsolicited callers and contact your bank directly for further information.

Phone scam - 1 November 2021
A scam phone call has been reported by some customers recently. These customers have received a phone call with an automated message advising that they have exceeded their spend or credit limit at a New World store. They are then advised that they need to deposit the money back into the store's bank account.
