We're saying goodbye to Clubcard and hello Club+
From 15 June you'll need to be a Club+ member to scan, score and save at New World. It's everything you love about Clubcard, just smarter!
Before 15 June: Join Club+ and keep scanning your New World Clubcard to keep earning New World Dollars of Airpoints.
As a Club+ member, when you shop at New World, you'll be able to:
- Choose to score either Club+ Dollars or Airpoints™*.
- Spend your Club+ Dollars to save on your groceries*.
- Score a fuel discount every time you shop*.
- Access special discounts with Club+ Deals.
- Get access to member-only services such as online shopping, and Shop & go at selected South Island stores.
- Let Club+ Picks help recommend products on special each week that you might like.

Club+ is the new rewards and benefits programme for New World, PAK’nSAVE and Four Square shoppers giving you a smarter way to shop. It’s flexible, tailored to you, and has multiple ways to scan, score and save with a wide range of benefits across New World, PAK’nSAVE and Four Square.
As a Club+ member, you can:
- Score Club+ Dollars with every shop at New World and Four Square*.
- Spend your Club+ Dollars to save on your groceries at New World, PAK’nSAVE and Four Square*.
- Choose to convert your Club+ Dollars to Airpoints™ at any time.
- Score a fuel discount every time you shop*.
- Score special discounts at New World with Club+ Deals.
- Access member-only services such as online shopping, and Shop’nGo in the South Island.
- Get weekly Club+ Picks of products on special you might like.
- Use your Club+ card to scan at New World, PAK’nSAVE, Four Square, Z and Caltex – just one card for all!
- Use just one super smart Club+ login to use across New World, PAK’nSAVE and Four Square, so only one password to remember.

It’s easy to join Club+, it only takes a minute, plus it’s free! Join via one of these easy ways:
- Join here or download the Club+ app,
- Through the New World, PAK’nSAVE and Four Square NOW! apps or websites,
- Or call our friendly Customer Service team on 0800 80 70 70 and they can sign you up on the spot.
As soon as you join Club+ you can start to scan, score and save from 15 June. You’ll receive a welcome email, which includes your Club+ account number and digital barcode that can be scanned when shopping in-store.
And if you join via the Club+, New World or PAK’nSAVE apps your digital card will be ready to scan in-store from this date too.
Your Club+ card can be scanned from the Club+, New World and PAK'nSAVE apps - no need for plastic. How easy is that!
If you have joined Club+ and prefer to use a plastic card, you can order one to be posted to your address. You can do this by:
- Logging into your Club+ account and requesting one in the Club+ card section,
- Ordering one through the Club+ app via your Account settings,
- Or if you prefer, call our friendly Customer Service team on 0800 80 70 70 to order one.
You should receive your plastic Club+ card within 15 working days.
If you haven’t already joined Club+, you can join in-store with one of our Club+ Crew and they can issue you a plastic card. You can see when our Club+ Crew are instore here.

If you’re a Clubcard member and have New World Dollars on your account, your balance will automatically transfer to Club+ Dollars on 15 June when you join Club+.
Before 15 June, you can continue to redeem your New World Dollars in-store and online - however due to a system change, New World Dollars can’t be used online for orders placed for collection or delivery from 12 June.
From 15 June, if you’re a Club+ member your remaining New World Dollar balance will automatically transfer to Club+ Dollars when Club+ launches. If you’re not yet a member you can continue to spend your New World Dollars in-store until 26 July but note that from 27 July you will no longer be able to spend your New World Dollars without joining Club+, as Clubcard will have officially ended.
From 27 July, we’ll hold on to your New World Dollars for 2 years from your last earn date and if you join Club+ using the same email address you had on your Clubcard account your New World Dollar balance will automatically transfer to Club+ Dollars and come with you.
You can use Club+ when you shop in-store and online at all New World, PAK’nSAVE and Four Square stores nationwide. Each retailer has unique and exciting benefits and rewards for you to score*, so remember to scan with every shop.
*On qualifying purchases
You’ll also use Club+ to access Shop’nGo in all PAK’nSAVE and selected New World stores in the South Island. And don’t forget to scan your Club+ card to redeem fuel discounts at participating Z and Caltex sites, and New World and PAK’nSAVE fuel sites (where available). Don’t forget, your Club+ card works at all these retailers - just one card to scan for all!
Some new Club+ members are having issues with their New World app after joining Club+. If you are having problems logging into your app or being able to see your Clubcard barcode we suggest you:
- Check that your app is on the latest version (5.0.2) - you can check this by selecting ‘I’m just browsing’ when you open your New World app and selecting a store. Tap on your Account at the bottom of the screen and you’ll see your Version number.
- If your app is an older version, update this from the Apple App store or Google Play Store and log back in using your new Club+ login details.
- If you are still experiencing login issues, try uninstalling and reinstalling your New World app by re-downloading from the Apple App store or Google Play Store and using your new Club+ login details.
Like to do things face-to-face? For a limited time, our Club+ Crew will be in-store to help you get set up – just look out for their purple shirt! For details on when the Club+ Crew will be available in your local store, you can find more information here.
You can now use your new super smart Club+ login across New World, PAK’nSAVE, Four Square and Club+.
If you ordered a plastic card but it hasn’t arrived by 15 June, there’s a number of easy ways to keep scanning, scoring and saving while you wait for it to arrive:
- Download the Club+, New World or PAK’nSAVE apps and log in with your Club+ details to get your digital card,
- Scan the barcode included in your Club+ welcome email,
- Or give your phone number to the operator at any New World, PAK’nSAVE or Four Square staffed checkout and they can search for your Club+ account to apply to your transaction.
Joining Club+ will automatically merge all your accounts that use the same email address from New World, PAK’nSAVE and Four Square. Club+ brings together all your saved information, your New World Dollars or Airpoints™ rewards choice and shopping history. If you have old or different email addresses on any of the following:
- New World online shopping.
- New World Clubcard.
- PAK’nSAVE online shopping.
- Four Square NOW! online shopping.
- PAK’nSAVE Sticky Club used for SHOP’nGO in the South Island.
Please call our Customer Service team on 0800 80 70 70 to update them all to your preferred email. They can also join you on the spot!
You can enjoy a wide range of different features across our apps, so you may find multiple apps useful. If you download the Club+ app, you’ll have access to all your Club+ smart shopping essentials like your card, your balance and your fuel discounts.
If you already use the New World or PAK’nSAVE apps, you can keep using these to scan your Club+ card, see your Club+ Dollar balance and shop online.
With access to your Club+ account across multiple apps, it’s easy to enjoy seamless convenience and flexibility, no matter how and where you choose to shop; you’ll be ready to scan at New World, PAK’nSAVE, Four Square, and partners like Z and Caltex, every time you shop!
When you shop in-store or online at New World and Four Square* the Club+ Dollars you score as a Club+ member are loaded onto your account, and able to be spent whenever you like^. No minimum spend, tricky points to calculate or waiting to earn vouchers, just score and spend as you go.
You can choose where to spend your Club+ Dollars, using them as full or partial payment to save on your groceries. 1 Club+ Dollar is equivalent in value to 1 New Zealand Dollar (1 Club+ Dollar = $1 NZD) when used at New World, PAK’nSAVE or Four Square stores, or by shopping online at New World or PAK’nSAVE. Club+ Dollars are unable to be used on Four Square NOW! purchases.
When you join Club+, you’ll set a PIN to keep your Club+ Dollars secure, which you’ll use when spending them in-store.
You have the choice of scoring either Club+ Dollars or Airpoints™ as your rewards and can change your choice at any time. Just log in to your Club+ account here or in the app and select Change Rewards. Or if you prefer, call our friendly Customer Service team on 0800 80 70 70 for help.

Online shopping
Club+ is your new smart shopping buddy for in-store and online shopping.
From 15 June if you shop online at New World this service is now specially for Club+ members. To continue using this service, you will need to have a Club+ account.
It’s easy to join Club+, it only takes a minute, plus it’s free! You can join here.
If you haven’t joined Club+ by 15 June, you can join at any time to keep shopping online with us. Just make sure you join Club+ with the same email address you have on your current online shopping account, and all your saved information and shopping history will come with you.
Some new Club+ members are having Issues with their New World app after joining Club+.
If you are having problems logging into your app or you're unable to see your Clubcard barcode, we suggest you update your New World app to version 5.0 from the Apple App store or Google Play Store and log back in using your new Club+ login details.
If you are still experiencing login issues, try uninstalling and reinstalling your New World app by re-downloading from the Apple App store or Google Play Store.
Yes — from 15 June 2026, online shopping is only available to Club+ members. If you already shop online with New World join Club+ using the same email address to bring your saved details, lists and shopping history across.

Once you’re a Club+ member, you’ll score and save every time you shop* and can use the same super smart login across Club+, New World, PAK’nSAVE and Four Square. And when you shop online your Club+ account is instantly applied, so you’ll score your Club+ benefits as you go.

If you haven’t joined Club+ by 15 June, you can join at any time to keep shopping online with us. Just make sure you join Club+ with the same email address you have on your current online shopping account, all your saved information, lists and shopping history will come with you.
New World online shopping is widely available across the North Island and some South Island stores. Shop online on your desktop or download the New World app. Delivery and Click & Collect available. Go to newworld.co.nz/shop to start shopping.

Clubcard
Clubcard is the loyalty programme for New World customers that helps you make the most of your shopping at New World. As a Clubcard member, you can choose to earn either New World Dollars or Airpoints Dollars™. As well as earning your choice of rewards, you’ll also have access to special discounts with Club Deals and automatic entry into exclusive Clubcard competitions.
We’re saying goodbye Clubcard and hello to smarter shopping with Club+.
Club+ launches on 15 June 2026, but don’t worry, Club+ has everything you love about Clubcard, it’s just smarter. You’ll still score rewards and special discounts on products at New World like you did with Clubcard. And with Club+ you can now scan, score and save across PAK’nSAVE and Four Square too!
Remember, if you join Club+ using the same email, we’ll transfer your remaining New World Dollars from Clubcard over to Club+ Dollars and you will start scoring Club+ Dollars when you scan your Club+ card or shop online* from 15 June 2026.

To help manage the transition from Clubcard to Club+, if you haven’t joined by 15 June, while you won’t be able to access all Club+ benefits, like scoring Club+ Dollars or Club+ fuel discounts you can still scan your Clubcard in New World stores until 26 July to spend your New World Dollars and save with Club+ Deals.
From 27 July New World Clubcard will no longer be accepted, but we’ll hold onto your New World Dollars until they expire and transfer these into Club+ Dollars if you join.

Yes! Most New World stores can help you cater for almost any occasion. From Christmas dinner to work lunches, we can provide platters, pastries, cakes, hot food, sushi and much more. Ask our friendly in-store Deli Team or order catering online.
Made2Order is a service offered by selected North Island New World stores, where you can purchase food platters, cakes, bouquets, hampers and gift baskets. Visit made2order.newworld.co.nz to place your order.
As well as Gift Cards, many New World stores offer floral bouquets, hampers, cakes and gift baskets. Get in touch with your local store to view their range.
We also have a great range of premium wine and beer in store, ideal for last minute gifts!
Christmas Club
New World Christmas Club is the easy way to prepare for Christmas. Spread the cost of grocery shopping over the year by contributing to your account regularly and get rewarded for the contributions you make. Go here to join.

Fuel offers
A Fuelup voucher is earned with a qualifying purchase at New World. Participating store receipts will have the Fuelup voucher attached. You can redeem Fuelup vouchers at all Z service stations. Go to fuel for more details and the latest fuel offers.
Yes you will receive a fuel voucher with your order. This voucher will be printed and stapled to your packing slip (which you will receive with your order).
The fuel voucher value will be determined on the day your order is placed or last edited, not the day that the order is collected or delivered. It can only be used once and the expiry date will be printed on the voucher.
Gift cards
You can buy New World Gift Cards in-store or online at giftstation.co.nz
Gift card balances can now be checked online at the NW website as shown here.
No. We currently don't offer this service, you will need to use your Gift Card for purchase's in-store.
Health and safety
We take all health and safety issues very seriously. We want to know about anything that may affect people’s safety and well-being in and around the store, including hazards, injuries, or issues with the products we sell. If you spot anything that concerns you in or around the store, we suggest you notify a staff member in store immediately.
We have a Foodstuffs team that will take appropriate action and liaise with stores to address anything that may occur. To find out more about this you can pop in to your local store and ask at the customer service desk or contact the store here.

Lost trolley
If you spot an abandoned trolley somewhere, please contact us here to let us know. In your message, please include the location of the trolley, e.g. "corner of main street and high street" or "outside 3 Jones Drive" and the name of the nearest New World store, and we will collect it.
