From time to time we receive reports that New World customers are being targeted by online scams in the form of display ads, pop-up ads and emails.

Here's what to watch out for.

 

Scam alert - 14 May 2020

We are aware of a scam email being sent to customers saying that their 'Club' points will expire, and a link to 'see points'.

This has not been sent by New World, and we recommend that you do not click or share any links, do not ring any number or provide any personal information. If you're ever unsure about the legitimacy of a competition, please contact us.

 


Scam alert - 6 May 2020

There is currently a scam competition being advertised on Facebook, promoting that New World is giving gifts to people born in a certain month. This promotion lures customers into ringing a phone number and answering quiz questions on the phone in order to win a $500 gift voucher.
