We’ve been working with Love Food Hate Waste, to bring you delicious and nutritious meal inspiration and planners on a budget to help plan what to feed your family throughout the week. These seasonal meal planners will help families shop for, cook and eat nourishing and affordable food.
Each planner contains four weekly meal plans, including a shopping list, easy to follow recipes, and tips for leftovers and how to make food last. Each meal should feed a family of six (two adults and four children under 10) or four adults - or a smaller family with leftovers for lunch!
All of the recipes are nutritionally balanced and include plenty of healthy ingredients such as vegetables, beans and wholegrains. Plus, the meals are designed to be zero waste — all of the ingredients should be used by the end of the week so no food goes to waste. We'll let you know if leftovers can be stored for the next day or frozen.
