Kumara, carrot and broccoli purée - stage 2 baby food
The sweetness of the carrot and kumara tone down the broccoli flavour, so this is an ideal dish to start introducing more ‘vegetable’ flavours.
- 300g kumara
- 1 carrot
- 125g broccoli
- Peel and chop the kumara and carrot and put them into a saucepan.
- Cover with water and cook for 10 minutes.
- Add the broccoli and continue to cook for another 7 minutes, until all the vegetables are tender.
- Using some of the cooking water blend to a purée to the appropriate consistency.
Suitable for freezing.
