
Quick chicken gyros

Easy 15-minute chicken gyros on soft garlic pita breads make for a simple but satisfying dinner solution. Serve with tzatziki and oven-baked fries sprinkled with paprika and crumbled feta for an unrivalled Greek-inspired meal.
Ingredients
500g chicken breast, diced
¼ cup natural Greek yoghurt
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 tsp dried oregano
½ lemon
8 garlic pita bread, warmed
1 cup shredded lettuce
Method
Combine chicken in a large bowl with yoghurt, a tablespoon of olive oil, garlic, oregano, juice of the lemon and salt and pepper.
Bring a large pan to medium-high heat with a drizzle of olive oil. Cook the chicken for 4-5 minutes, or until browned and cooked through.
Top the warmed pitas with the lettuce, followed by the chicken pieces.
Serve and enjoy.
