One pot macaroni and mince
Inspired by American goulash, this one pot macaroni and mince is a tasty cheesy sensation. Tender pasta, cooked in a flavourful rich tomato and beef sauce is the highlight of this dish. It’s a crowd-pleasing favourite, ready in under 35 minutes.

- 1 onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 450g beef mince
- 2 ½ cups beef stock
- 2 cans (840g) tomato and herb pasta sauce
- 500g Value macaroni elbows pasta
- 1 cup grated tasty cheese
Method
- In a large pot, bring a drizzle of oil to medium-high heat. Sauté the onion and garlic for 3-4 minutes or until softened.
- Add the mince and cook for 4-5 minutes or until browned.
- Pour in the beef stock and pasta sauce. Season with salt and pepper, then stir to combine.
- Bring to a boil, then add the pasta and reduce to a simmer. Cook for 15-20 minutes or until the macaroni is tender, stirring regularly.
- Stir through the cheese then serve and enjoy.
