- 500g yams
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- Preheat oven to 180°C. Cut yams in half if necessary.
- Toss all ingredients together in a baking dish until yams are well coated.
- Bake in a preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until tender.
- Place in a serving dish and serve hot.
Variation: You can use swedes, parsnips or turnips instead of yams.
Alternatively, allow to cool, then toss through leafy greens to make a salad.
