Recipe notes:

Yams – These honey roasted yams are always popular, but if you can’t find yams there are alternatives available. As a variation, try using swedes, parsnips or turnips instead of yams. Alternatively, you could allow the yams to cool then toss through leafy greens to make a salad.

Honey – If you left the honey off your shopping list, try substituting maple syrup. This may make the dish a little sweeter, but it should still be delicious.

Variation: You can use swedes, parsnips or turnips instead of yams.

Serving: Ideal as a side with roast beef or pork. Alternatively, allow to cool, then toss through leafy greens to make a salad.
