New World Clubcard My Offers - Terms and Conditions

1. Foodstuffs (N.Z.) Limited (Foodstuffs) may offer personalised offers for eligible New World Clubcard members (Clubcard Members or you) from time to time in conjunction with participating New World stores.  
 
2. Personalised offers may offer you the ability to earn bonus New World Dollars if you meet the conditions set out below at clause 7 for each Offer.    
 
3. Offers will be communicated to eligible Clubcard Members via email and/or the New World Clubcard mobile application (Offer Notice).  
 
4. By participating in an Offer, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.  
 
5. We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time and we will tell you about a change by updating the “last updated” date on our website. Unless otherwise stated, any changes to the Terms & Conditions will take effect immediately upon being placed on the website and your participation in an Offer following the “last updated” date will represent an agreement by you to be bound by the Terms and Conditions as amended.  
 
Promotion Period  
 
6. Offers are valid during the period notified when the Offer is communicated to eligible Clubcard Members (Promotion Period). Any online orders must be fulfilled (delivered or picked up) and invoiced before the Promotion Period end date.    
 
Activating the Offer and Qualifying Conditions 
 
7. To be eligible to earn the bonus New World Dollars communicated, you must:  

a. Activate the offer by clicking the ‘Activate’ button in the New World app. 
b. After the Offer has been activated in accordance with clause 7(a): You must swipe or scan your Clubcard instore at the time of payment or have a Clubcard loaded on your New World online account before the time of purchase; and meet the below qualifying conditions (“Qualifying Conditions”) for each Offer: 

(i) Category Offer:   

• spend the minimum amount notified in the Offer Notice in multiple transactions during the Promotion Period on products from the grocery category (as that category is defined in the Schedule to these Terms & Conditions) at New World stores nationwide plus online at newworld.co.nz/shop and through the New World mobile application.  
• Specific categories have exclusions listed in the Schedule to these terms and conditions (Excluded Products) which are not included as part of the the Category Offer. 

(ii) Visit Offer: 

• Spend the minimum amount during each required transaction as notified in the Offer Notice during the Promotion Period at New World stores nationwide plus online at newworld.co.nz/shop and through the New World mobile application. 

(iii) Product Offer: 

• Purchase the minimum number of specified products as set out in the Offer Notice during the Promotion Period at New World stores nationwide plus online at newworld.co.nz/shop and through the New World mobile application; 

(iv) Spend Offer: 

• Spend the minimum amount  notified in the Offer Notice during the Promotion Period at New World stores nationwide plus online at newworld.co.nz/shop and through the New World mobile application. The minimum amount can be achieved over multiple separate transactions during the Promotion Period.    

8. The following do not qualify for any of the Offers: Christmas Club deposits, Gift Cards, prepaid debit cards, travel card top ups, phone card top ups, tobacco products, New Zealand Lotteries tickets, fuel, donations, purchases made through charge accounts , online service fees and any other fees, deposits and purchases that may be determined by us from time to time    
 
9. Foodstuffs reserves the right to change the Qualifying Conditions, category definitions or Excluded Products at its discretion.  
 
Earning Bonus New World Dollars  
 
10. Once you have activated the Offer and have met the conditions for each Offer as set out in clause 7 above, you will automatically be eligible to earn the bonus New World Dollars communicated in the Offer Notice.  
 
11. Bonus New World Dollars will be automatically loaded onto eligible Clubcard Members Clubcard accounts  
 
Eligibility  
 
12. To be eligible to participate in an Offer and earn the bonus New World Dollars offered:  

a. you must have activated the Offer and met the Qualifying Conditions in accordance with clause 7;  
b. you must be a current New World Clubcard member who has received the Category Offer Notice;  
c. you must be 18 years of age or older;  
d. you must consent to Foodstuffs using your name, photo, hometown and image for publicity and promotional purposes (including the display of your name in store) and you must make yourself available for publicity photographs relating to the promotion on request for no additional compensation.  

Additional terms  
 
13. In addition to these terms and conditions, New World Clubcard Terms & Conditions and Online Shopping Terms & Conditions apply.  
 
14. New World Clubcard Terms & Conditions will apply to any bonus New World Dollars earned as a result of participating in a Category Offer.  
 
15. Additional terms and conditions may apply to each Offer which will be included in the Offer Notice.  
 
16. Foodstuffs reserves the right to amend, suspend or terminate an Offer, these Terms and Conditions and/or additional Offer Terms and Conditions at any time.  
 
Verifying compliance with these terms  
 
17. Foodstuffs reserves the right to verify the identity of any participant (including a participant's identity, age, city/town of residence and place of employment) and to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry or refuse to award bonus New World Dollars where false or misleading details have been given by a participant, or a participant has behaved in a fraudulent or dishonest manner, or otherwise than in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.  
 
Exclusion of liability  
 
18. Subject to any applicable laws which cannot be excluded, Foodstuffs, any New World store, their respective employees and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature incurred or suffered by any person (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with this promotion or with winning, earning, redeeming or benefiting from the bonus New World Dollars.  
 
Disputes  
 
19. In the event of a dispute concerning any aspect of the promotion including eligibility the decision of Foodstuffs will be final. No correspondence concerning any decision made by Foodstuffs will be entered into.  
 
Privacy  
 
20. All information submitted in conjunction with this promotion remains the property of Foodstuffs. Your personal information may be used to conduct this promotion and for future promotional and publicity purposes in relation to this promotion. By entering this competition, you consent to the use of your personal information for these purposes. Foodstuffs’ New World Privacy Policy will apply to all personal information that we collect from you.

All products are subject to availability and product limits and/or promotional restrictions may apply. Age & purchase eligibility restrictions may also apply.  
 
1. Butchery  

a. Includes fresh meat from the butchery department including beef, lamb, chicken, mutton, offal, pork, duck, venison and bacon.  
b. Exclusions apply such as frozen meats, meat marinades & rubs, seafood, pet food, products sold over the deli counter, plant-based meat alternatives, butchery related gift baskets and any butchery products for catering purposes.  

2. Fresh Fruit & Vege  

a. Includes fresh fruits and vegetables from the produce section.  
b. Exclusions apply such as frozen fruit & vegetables, canned fruit & vegetables, dried fruits and nuts and produce related gift baskets and any produce products for catering purposes.  

3. Chocolate & Lollies  

a. Includes chocolate, gum and sweets & lollies.  
b. Exclusions apply such as ice cream, fruits & nuts, seasonal confectionary (i.e. Easter Eggs and Candy Canes) and gift boxes containing confectionary.  

4. Beauty & Personal Care  

a. Includes beauty & personal care items including cosmetics, deodorants, fragrances, hair care, oral care, period care, skin care, shaving items, sun care, nutritional products and vitamins.  
b. Exclusions apply such as medicines, cough & cold relief, first aid products and family planning items. 

5. Snacks  

a. Includes chips, popcorn and pre-packaged dried nuts and fruits.  
b. Exclusions apply such as muesli bars (and other cereal type bars) and dried fruit, nuts & seeds for baking purposes.  

6. Beverages  

a. Includes non-alcoholic chilled beverages such as fruit drinks and non-alcoholic non-chilled beverages including tea, coffee, soft drinks, energy drinks & water.  
b. Exclusions apply such as alcoholic beverages and 0% or low alcohol alternatives.  

7. Pet  

a. Includes pet food and related supplies including treatments, toys, litter, and accessories.  

8. Dairy  

a. Includes chilled dairy-based products such as butter, spreads, cheese, milk, cream and yoghurts.  
b. Exclusions apply such as frozen dairy products including ice cream, chilled beverages, non-dairy based milks (e.g. oat milk) and egg and egg white-based products.  

9. Beer & Cider  

a. Includes all items classified as beer, cider and 0% or low beer & cider alternatives.  

10. Wine  

a. Includes all items classified as wine and 0% or low wine alternatives.  
b. Excludes fruit wines labelled as ‘Cider’ that fall into the Beer & Cider category, cooking wine, any wine products unsuitable for drinking.  

11. Soup 

a. Includes all items classified as Soup; Chilled Soup, Packet and Canned soup. 

12. Deli 

a. Includes Speciality Cheese, Deli Meats and Antipasto foods e.g. olive, tomatoes, dips, speciality crackers and pates. Store-made Salads and Sushi, and Simply Dinner meal kits 
b. Excludes Everyday cheese blocks, sliced cheese, grated cheese, lunchbox/snacking cheese, cream cheese, cottage cheese. Pre-packaged salads. Boxed crackers (e.g. water crackers, rice crackers, crispbreads). All frozen items, including frozen deli meats, frozen pastry, and frozen snacks. Yoghurts, dairy desserts, milk, plant-based milk, butter, margarine. Chilled ready meals not prepared in-store. Canned meats/seafood, shelf-stable dips and spreads. Packaged nuts, dried fruit, snack bars, protein snacks 

13. Bakery 

a. Includes Fresh Breads & Rolls, Fresh Cakes & Muffins, Fresh Desserts & Pastries, Fresh Biscuits and Slices, Fresh Pies and Quiche. 
b. Excludes Sliced Bread, Speciality breads, Wraps, Pita breads, Muffins splits, Crumpets, Garlic and Herb breads, Pre-packaged bread rolls & buns, Biscuits & Slices, Cakes and Muffins, Organic and Gluten Free, Frozen Pastry, Frozen Bread and Dough.  

14. Fresh Seafood 

a. Includes Fresh fish fillets & steaks, Fresh fish heads, Fresh Seafood, Fresh Shellfish, Fresh smoked fish, Fresh Whole Fish and Seafood Salad. 
b. Excludes Frozen Fish, Frozen Prawns and Other Seafood. 

15. Cleaning 

a. Includes the following sub-categories: sponges, cleaners, cleaning cloths, cleaning wipes, scourers, bleach, disinfectants, air fresheners, toilet cleaners, dishwashing detergent, dish tablets, and pest control. 
b. Excludes mops, brooms, dish brushes, dust pans, toilet brushes and laundry products 

16. Pams  

a. Includes all Pams branded products: Pams Finest, Pams Free Range, Pams Gluten Free, Pams Organic, Pams Plant Based, Pams Superfoods, and Pams Value  

17. Frozen  

a. Includes all frozen products in Frozen Bakery, Frozen Butchery, Ice cream, Desserts, Meal Solution, Frozen Pastry, Frozen Vegetables and Potato, Frozen Seafood and Frozen Pet food.
