Terms and Conditions
Obtaining a New World fuel site discount voucher
1. New World fuel site discount vouchers are operated by Foodstuffs Fuel Limited (Foodstuffs).
2. Participating New World supermarkets may issue New World fuel discount vouchers to customers that make a qualifying purchase, either instore, online at newworld.co.nz/shop or through the New World mobile application. Participating New World stores are listed below and have a New World fuel site on premises. To obtain a New World fuel site discount voucher a minimum spend on qualifying purchases may apply. The minimum spend may change from time to time and may depend on the value of discount offered by the New World fuel site discount voucher. Christmas Club deposits, New World Gift Cards, phone card top ups, AT Hop Cards, Snapper Cards, tobacco products and New Zealand Lotteries tickets are not qualifying purchases.
Redeeming a New World fuel site discount voucher
3. New World fuel site discount vouchers can only be redeemed at the issuing supermarket fuel site i.e. the fuel site on the same premises as the supermarket you received the discount voucher from.
4. New World fuel site discount vouchers cannot be redeemed at any other fuel outlet.
5. A New World fuel site discount voucher will provide the customer redeeming the voucher with a 'cents per litre' discount (including GST) off the applicable retail price of a fuel purchase from the Fuel Site as at the date of purchase.
6. Fuel purchases include all grades of motor spirit (including ethanol blended automotive spirit) and automotive diesel; but do not include lubricants, CNG, LPG, AvGas and any other form of fuel not listed above.
7. Each New World fuel site discount voucher:
a. can only be used once in conjunction with payment by cash, EFTPOS, credit card or Gift Cards; and
b. cannot be used in conjunction with a payment by a commercial fleetcard, including Z Business Card; and
c. will have a finite period within which it can be redeemed that will be stated on the voucher; and
d. after the stated expiry date on the voucher, it will no longer be able to be accepted at the Fuel Site.
8. Only one New World fuel site discount voucher may be redeemed at a time by a single customer for a single vehicle or boat fill. Customers cannot use multiple New World fuel site discount vouchers on a single purchase of fuel to obtain a greater discount.
9. The maximum amount of fuel that can be purchased with a New World fuel site discount voucher discount applying to the purchase is $200. If a customer purchases more than $200 when a New World fuel site discount voucher is redeemed, the discount will apply to the first $200, after this volume has been reached the pricing for additional litres purchased will revert to the normal retail price.
10. A New World fuel site discount voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other form of discount or promotion (unless expressly provided for in a specific promotion's terms and conditions).
11. Only original New World fuel site discount vouchers can be redeemed. Foodstuffs reserves the right to refuse to redeem copied, damaged or defaced New World fuel site discount vouchers.
12. New World fuel site discount vouchers can only be redeemed once.
13. Foodstuffs reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time and any updated terms and conditions will be posted on newworld.co.nz.
14. Foodstuffs reserves the right to terminate, modify or suspend fuel site vouchers at any time and without prior notice. Any such change would be notified on newworld.co.nz
