Terms and Conditions

Obtaining a New World fuel site discount voucher

1. New World on-site fuel discount vouchers are operated by Foodstuffs Fuel Limited (Foodstuffs).

2. Participating New World supermarkets (listed below) may issue New World on-site fuel discount vouchers to customers that make a qualifying purchase instore and do not swipe their Club+ card. Customers who swipe their Club+ card at checkout may be eligible to earn a Club+ Fuel Discount. See Club+ Fuel Discount Terms & Conditions here.

3. Participating New World stores are listed below and have a New World fuel site on premises. To obtain a New World fuel site discount voucher a minimum spend on qualifying purchases may apply. The minimum spend amount may change from time to time and may depend on the value of discount offered by the on-site voucher. The following items will not be included as qualifying purchases for the purpose of calculating minimum spend: Christmas Club deposits, gift cards, prepaid debit cards, travel card top ups, phone card top ups, tobacco and other smoking products, New Zealand Lotteries tickets, fuel, donations, and service fees, online delivery, click and collect and bag fees, and any other fees, deposits and purchases that may be determined by us from time to time.

4. Online purchases from New World stores are not eligible to earn an on-site voucher as New World online shopping (including via the mobile application) is only available to registered Club+ members. Club+ members who make a purchase from a New World online store may be eligible to earn a Club+ Fuel Discount. See Club+ Fuel Discount Terms & Conditions here.

Redeeming a New World on-site fuel discount voucher

5. New World on-site fuel discount vouchers can only be redeemed at the issuing supermarket fuel site i.e. the fuel site on the same premises as the supermarket you received the discount voucher from.

6. New World on-site fuel discount vouchers cannot be redeemed at any other fuel outlet.

7. A New World on-site fuel discount voucher will provide the customer redeeming the voucher with a 'cents per litre' discount (including GST) off the applicable retail price of a fuel purchase from the Fuel Site as at the date of purchase.

8. Fuel purchases include all grades of motor spirit (including ethanol blended automotive spirit) and automotive diesel; but do not include lubricants, CNG, LPG, AvGas and any other form of fuel not listed above.

9. Each New World on-site fuel discount voucher:

a. can only be used once in conjunction with payment by cash, EFTPOS, credit card or Gift Cards; and

b. cannot be used in conjunction with a payment by a commercial fleetcard, including Z Business Card; and

c. will have a finite period within which it can be redeemed that will be stated on the voucher; and

d. after the stated expiry date on the voucher, it will no longer be able to be accepted at the on-site fuel site.

10. Only one New World on-site fuel discount voucher may be redeemed at a time by a single customer for a single vehicle or boat fill. Customers cannot use multiple New World fuel site discount vouchers on a single purchase of fuel to obtain a greater discount.

11. The maximum amount of fuel that can be purchased with a New World on-site fuel discount voucher discount applying to the purchase is $200 NZD (after the discount is applied and including GST). If a customer purchases more than $200 (after the discount is applied and including GST) worth of fuel when a New World fuel site discount voucher is redeemed, the discount will apply to the first $200 NZD (after the discount is applied and including GST), no discount will be applied for any additional litres and the additional litres purchased will revert to the normal retail price.

12. A New World on-site fuel discount voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other form of discount or promotion (unless expressly provided for in a specific promotion's terms and conditions).

13. Only original New World on-site fuel site discount vouchers can be redeemed. Foodstuffs reserves the right to refuse to redeem copied, damaged or defaced New World fuel site discount vouchers.

14. New World on-site fuel site discount vouchers can only be redeemed once.

15. Foodstuffs reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time and any updated terms and conditions will be posted on newworld.co.nz.

16. Foodstuffs reserves the right to terminate, modify or suspend fuel site vouchers at any time and without prior notice. Any such change would be notified on newworld.co.nz
