Eligible Entrants:

You can only enter this Promotion if you are:

  1. a New Zealand resident; and
  2. aged 18 years or older.

WHEN AND WHERE WILL THE PROMOTION RUN?

Promotion Period

 

The Promotion starts at 12.01am NZ Standard Time on Monday 9th June 2025 and (unless extended due to a Delayed Game as per below) ends at 7:04pm NZ Standard Time on Saturday 6th September 2025 (Promotion Period).

No entries will be accepted outside of the Promotion Period.

Where will the Promotion Run?

This Promotion will run in participating stores in New Zealand that stock and sell the Participating Products (Participating Stores).

ENTRY DETAILS

Participating Products

Any Cadbury confectionery product (excluding products made by third parties under licence from the Promoter, for example ice creams).

How to Enter

To enter this Promotion, an Eligible Entrant must, during the Promotion Period:

  1. buy any one (1) or more Participating Product/s from a Participating Store (Qualifying Purchase); and
  2. visit www.cadburytrytime.co.nz (Website), follow the prompts to the Promotion entry page; and fully complete and submit the online entry form with their personal details (first name, last name, email address, phone number) and upload their original itemised receipt/s for the Qualifying Purchase.

Each valid entry submitted in accordance with the above will count as one (1) entry into the prize draw for an All Blacks game (Allocated Game), with such Allocated Game being determined by the relevant Game Window (set out below) within which the Promoter receives the entry. Entries are only accepted during these specified periods.

Once the valid entry has been submitted, entrants will be randomly assigned a player jersey number for the All Blacks (from numbers 1 – 23). The player jersey number assigned will be valid only for the Allocated Game. There will be six (6) games during the Promotion Period.

The Promotion is limited to the six (6) games listed below only. No other games are part of this Promotion. The Promotion is for the first New Zealand try scorer only in each of the below games.

Proof of Purchase Requirements

Entrants must retain their original itemised receipt/s for the Qualifying Purchase to verify each entry (Proof of Purchase).

What are the Entry Limits?

Multiple entries permitted subject to the following: limit one (1) entry per person per day. Limit one (1) entry per Qualifying Purchase.

 

Important note: each Proof of Purchase (original itemised receipt) is valid for 1 entry into this Promotion, regardless of the number of Participating Products purchased in the transaction.

 

Only one (1) entry is permitted per person per day even on the days where there are two Game Windows in one day.

 

If a game's start time is delayed (Delayed Game), the Delayed Game’s Game Window will be extended to accept valid entries up to one (1) minute before the official start time of the Delayed Game, with the following Game Window accordingly commencing on the official start time of the Delayed Game.

 

If a game is postponed to another day, that game’s Game Window will not change, and valid entries received by the Promoter within that Game Window will be accepted and held valid until the game is played. If the game is postponed until after the Promotion Period has finished, or is permanently cancelled, all valid entries received within that Game Window will go into a second chance draw, where five (5) winners are drawn randomly. This draw will take place on Monday 8th September 2025 at 10:00am. The five (5) second chance draw winners will each win an equal share of the $50,000 for that game.

 

The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.

WINNER DETERMINATION DETAILS

Winner Determination

 

All Eligible Entrants whose assigned jersey number is worn by the player who scores the first try (not being a penalty try) for the All Blacks in their Allocated Game will win a share of $50,000. The prize amount is divided by the number of times the winning jersey number is assigned, not the number of individuals who are assigned the winning jersey number (so, you might get a greater share if you have validly entered and were allocated the winning jersey number more than once).

Winning scenario example A:

  • Eligible Entrant A submits a valid entry into the Promotion on 10th July;
  • The entrant is assigned jersey number 12 (by random number generation) for the Allocated Game, in this case, game number 2;
  • During Game Window number 2, jersey number 12 is randomly allocated a total of 50 times, including being allocated once to Eligible Entrant A;
  • The first try scorer in the All Blacks game on Saturday 12th July is wearing jersey number 12;
  • The people that were assigned jersey number 12 in Game Window number 2 will share that game's $50,000 major prize, with Eligible Entrant A winning $1,000.

    Winning scenario example B:

  • Eligible Entrant B submits a valid entry into the Promotion on 10th July;
  • The entrant is assigned jersey number 12 (by random number generation) for the Allocated Game, in this case, game number 2;
  • Eligible Entrant B submits another valid entry into the Promotion on 11th July and is assigned jersey number 12 again (by random number generation) for the Allocated Game;
  • During Game Window number 2, jersey number 12 is randomly allocated a total of 50 times, including being allocated twice to Eligible Entrant B;
  • The first try scorer in the All Blacks game on Saturday 12th July is wearing jersey number 12;
  • The people that were assigned jersey number 12 in Game Window number 2 will share that game's $50,000 major prize, with Eligible Entrant B winning $2,000.

The amount that can be won by an Eligible Entrant will be determined by how many times the winning jersey number is assigned during the relevant Game Window. If the winning jersey number is not assigned to any Eligible Entrants, no prize will be awarded, the $50,000 will be re-allocated to the next game and that next game’s total prize pool will become $100,000 (and so on).

If there is a game with no try scorer from the All Blacks, the $50,000 will be re-allocated to the next game and that next game’s total prize pool will become $100,000 (and so on).

Please note that the above reallocations will not apply to games that are postponed to outside the Promotion Period.

If, for the final game during the Promotion Period, there is no try scorer from the All Blacks, or the winning jersey number is not assigned to any Eligible Entrants, the total prize amount for that final game (which will either be $50,000, or a greater amount if money has been re-allocated as above) will go into a second chance draw, where five (5) winners are drawn randomly from all valid entries received throughout the whole Promotion Period. This draw will take place on Monday 8th September 2025 at 10:00am. The five (5) second chance draw winners will each win an equal share of the relevant prize amount.

PRIZE DETAILS

Prize Details

Subject to any reallocation of prize amounts above, there is NZD$50,000 to be won in each of the six (6) Games during the Promotion Period.

The winner's share of the prize will be transferred to the winner via electronic funds transfer to their nominated New Zealand bank account in their name.

The winner must provide their New Zealand bank account details to the Promoter in order for the prize to be awarded.

Total Prize Pool:

There will be a share of NZD$50,000 to be won each Game. Total prize pool is NZD$300,000.00.

NOTIFICATION & PUBLICATION

Notification of Winners

Prize winners will be notified by phone or in writing within three (3) business days of their Allocated Game, using the details provided at the time of entry into the Promotion. The winner will be the registered owner of the phone number or email address provided at the time of entry.

 

The number of winners each week, plus the winner’s first name and first letter of their surname (I.e. Sarah P.), will be published at www.cadburytrytime.co.nz.

VERIFICATION & DELIVERY

Verification Requirements

Entrants and winners may be required to:

  1. provide proof of identity, proof of age and proof of residency to verify their entry (Proof of Identity). Identification considered suitable for verification is at the Promoter’s discretion; and
  2. if requested, send their Proof of Purchase (for all entries they submitted during the Promotion Period) to the Promoter to verify that the relevant Prize should be awarded.

If an entrant/winner fails to provide Proof of Identity and/or Proof of Purchase by the time and date stipulated by the Promoter, their entry/prize claim will be deemed invalid at the Promoter’s discretion. In that case, no compensation will be payable to the entrant/winner.

Prize Delivery

Once an entrant/winner is deemed by the Promoter to have complied with these Terms and Conditions, the Promoter will transfer the relevant cash prize amount via electronic funds transfer to the winner’s selected bank account, within seven (7) business days of the winner’s entry being verified and accepted, and the winner providing the Promoter with details of their selected bank account.

PRIZE CLAIM DETAILS

Prize Claim Details

All winners must claim their Prize by providing bank details within two (2) weeks of being notified that they are a winner. If a winner fails to claim their Prize within two (2) weeks of being notified, their Prize will be void, and no compensation will be payable.

UNCLAIMED PRIZE DETAILS

Unclaimed Prize Draw Details

Any unwon/unclaimed prizes will be forfeited. There shall be no unclaimed prize draw for this Promotion.

Collection and use of your personal information

If you are a winner, you must take part in all publicity, photography and other promotional activity as the Promoter requires, without any compensation. By participating in this Promotion, you consent to the Promoter using your name and image in any promotional or advertising activity. All ensuing copyright in any such material rests with the Promoter.

The Promoter collects, holds and uses personal information (PI) provided by entrants for the purpose of conducting this Promotion (including to facilitate provision of the Prize) and for marketing purposes. The Promoter may disclose your PI to companies, agencies and other service providers connected with this Promotion or the provision of marketing services for the Promoter.

Failure to provide requested PI may disqualify a person from participating in this Promotion or being able to receive a Prize. Under the Privacy Act 2020, entrants have the right to request access to and correction of any such PI.

In addition to any use that may be outlined in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, if the entrant opts in at the time of entry, the Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the PI for direct promotional, marketing, publicity, and research purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant.

The Privacy Policy also contains information about how entrants may opt out, access, update or correct their PI, how entrants may complain about a breach of the New Zealand Privacy Principles or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with. Terms and Conditions

  1. These Terms and Conditions must be read together with the Schedule for this Promotion.The Schedule prevails to the extent of any inconsistency with these Terms and Conditions. Any capitalised terms used in these Terms and Conditions have the meaning given in the Schedule, unless stated otherwise.
  2. By participating in this Promotion, you accept these Terms and Conditions.

    Eligibility

  3. You can only enter this Promotion if you meet the eligibility requirements set out in the Schedule.
  4. Directors, management, employees, officers and contractors (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, of the Participating Stores or of the agencies or organisations associated with this Promotion are ineligible to enter. “Immediate families” means spouse, parent, natural or adopted child, and sibling (whether natural or adopted by a parent), whether or not they live in the same household as the director, manager, employee, officer or contractor.
  5. By entering this Promotion, if requested you agree to declare to the Promoter all past, current or potential conflicts of interest (if any) or any serious social misconduct or behavior that in a normal person's opinion may compromise the integrity or diminish the good name and reputation of the Promoter or its products and brands, is contrary to law or otherwise inappropriate.

    Entry

  6. The Promotion will be conducted during the Promotion Period.
  7. All entries must be received by the Promoter during the Promotion Period.Entries are deemed to have been received at the time of receipt into the Promoter’s database and not at the time of transmission or deposit by the entrant. Records of the Promoter and its agencies are final and conclusive as to the time of receipt.
  8. You can only submit your entry in accordance with the “How to Enter” section of the Schedule.The Promoter will not accept entries in any other form.Once submitted, you cannot change, alter or delete your entry.
  9. Automated entries and computer generated entries will not be accepted.Entrants who enter using multiple phone numbers, email addresses or aliases will be disqualified.
  10. Incomplete and ineligible entries will be deemed invalid.Entries will also be deemed invalid if they breach these Terms and Conditions as determined by the Promoter in its sole discretion or any other instructions or guidelines notified by the Promoter during the entry process for the Promotion.
  11. You are responsible for all costs associated with entering this Promotion, including but not limited to Internet and SMS costs.

    Entry Content

  12. You are required to take full responsibility for the content of your entry and for ensuring that your entry complies with these Terms and Conditions and any other instructions provided by the Promoter.For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, “entry content” includes any content (including text, photos, videos and email messages) that you submit, upload, transmit, publish, communicate or use in connection with your entry into the Promotion.
  13. Your entry must be your own original work.The Promoter reserves the right to verify, or to require you to verify, that your entry is your own original work.If an entry cannot be verified to the Promoter’s satisfaction, the entry will be deemed invalid.
  14. Your entry must not:
    1. include any content which may diminish the good name and reputation of the Promoter or its products and brands;
    2. feature any image or voice of any other person without that person’s express consent.You confirm that if such content is included in your entry, you have obtained the express consent of the relevant person/s;
    3. include any content that is in violation of any law or regulation;
    4. be fraudulent, deceptive or misleading in any way;
    5. include any content that infringes the rights of any person;
    6. be obscene, offensive, defamatory, discriminatory, indecent or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate (which includes, without limitation, any content involving nudity, malice, excessive violence or swearing);
    7. include any literary, dramatic, musical or artistic work, any audio-visual or sound recording, or any other item in which copyright subsists, unless you are entitled to use such content.If you have any doubts about whether to include any content (for example, recorded music) you must not include it.By including such content in your entry, you warrant to the Promoter that you have the permission of the relevant copyright owner to do so and that this permission allows the Promoter to use the entry to publicise the Promotion and for any other purpose as set out in these Terms and Conditions; and
    8. feature any third party products, third party trade marks, names, logos or branding.
  15. The Promoter may, in its absolute discretion, edit, modify, delete, remove or take-down any part of an entry at any time.
  16. By entering this Promotion, you agree to assign all rights in your entry to the Promoter and you consent to the Promoter (or the agencies/companies associated with the Promoter) using the entry in any manner the Promoter wishes (including modifying, adapting or publishing the entry, whether in original or modified form, in whole or in part or not at all), in marketing, advertising and promotional materials, on the Promoter’s websites and social media platforms or in any other manner as determined by the Promoter, without payment to you (of royalties, compensation or otherwise) on a perpetual, world-wide and irrevocable basis.

    Challenge

  17. If the Promotion involves a challenge, the challenge will be conducted as specified by the Promoter.Entrants (and other challenge participants, if applicable) must comply with all directions or guidelines notified to them in connection with the challenge.
  18. Unless otherwise specified by the Promoter, entrants and challenge participants are responsible for making their own way to and from the challenge, at their own cost.
  19. All costs associated with participating in the challenge are the responsibility of the challenge participants, as incurred.

    Facebook/Instagram/YouTube promotions

  20. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram and/or YouTube.By entering, you acknowledge that any information you provide in connection with the Promotion is being provided to the Promoter and not to Facebook, Instagram and/or YouTube. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Promotion should be directed to the Promoter.By entering, you release Facebook, Instagram and YouTube from all liability arising in respect of the Promotion.

    Determining and notifying winners

  21. Winners will be determined, notified and published as set out in the Schedule.
  22. The Promoter and the companies and agencies associated with this Promotion may also publish the name and state/territory of residence for winners on their websites, social media platforms and in trade publications.By entering this Promotion, each entrant consents to this and requests that his or her full address not be published.

    Prizes

  23. The prize(s) are as specified in the Schedule.The prize(s) are subject to any additional terms and conditions as specified in the Schedule.
  24. Prizes will be delivered to the address provided by the winner at the time of entry or completing the verification process (whichever is most recent).
  25. Once dispatched and awarded to a winner, the Promoter is not liable for any prize that has been lost, stolen, damaged, defaced or tampered with in any way.
  26. If a prize is or includes gift cards/vouchers, the gift cards/vouchers are subject to any terms and conditions imposed by the gift card/voucher provider, including period of validity and treatment of unused balances.

    Claiming prizes

  27. Prizes must be claimed in accordance with the Prize Claim Details section of the Schedule.
  28. If a prize is not accepted or claimed in accordance with the Prize Claim Details, the relevant winner’s entry will be deemed invalid and the Promoter reserves the right to distribute the relevant unclaimed prize in accordance with the details specified in the Schedule, subject to any directions given by any relevant gaming authority.Winners of unclaimed prizes will be notified and published in accordance with the details set out in the Schedule.
    General

  29. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any problems or technical malfunction of any communication network or for any late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise.The Promoter has no control over telephone communications, networks or lines and accepts no responsibility for any problems associated with them, whether due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise.The Promoter is not liable for any consequences of user error including (without limitation) any costs incurred.
  30. The Promoter may, at its sole discretion, declare any or all entries made by an entrant invalid, prohibit further participation by an entrant or winner in this Promotion, or invalidate a provisional winner if the entrant/winner:
    1. fails to verify their personal details and/or eligibility to enter the Promotion to the Promoter's satisfaction;
    2. tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion (including where entrants share their Proof of Purchase to enter the Promotion or where entrants use multiple names, addresses or aliases to register multiple entries);
    3. submits an entry which in the Promoter's opinion is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions;
    4. acts in a disruptive manner or with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person;
    5. engages in conduct in entering the Promotion which in the Promoter’s opinion is fraudulent, misleading or deceptive;
    6. or engages in conduct which may, in the opinion of the Promoter, compromise the integrity or diminish the good name and reputation of the Promoter or its products and brands, is contrary to law or otherwise inappropriate.
  31. Entrants and winners must comply with the details set out in the Verification Requirements section of the Schedule as part of the entry verification or prize claim process.Failure to comply with the Verification Requirements to the Promoter’s satisfaction will result in your entry and/or prize claim being declared invalid (and, at the Promoter’s discretion, in all of your entries/prize claims being declared invalid).
  32. All entries will be the property of the Promoter and will not be returned.
  33. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable for any other item and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other form of compensation (unless cash is specified).The value of each prize is accurate as at the time of preparation of this material, is the RRP value and is inclusive of GST.The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of a prize after that time.If a prize (or element of a prize, where applicable) is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter may substitute it for another item of equal or higher value, subject to the approval of any relevant gaming authorities as required.
  34. If a winner (or a companion, as applicable) does not take an element of a prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and their companion(s) as applicable and neither cash nor any other form of compensation will be supplied in lieu of that element of the prize.The Promoter accepts no other liability or responsibility for any loss incurred by a winner or any other party if any prize (or any part of a prize) is unavailable for any reason.
  35. If requested by the Promoter, entrants and winners (and their companion(s), if applicable) must sign (or procure that their parent/guardian signs) an indemnity and exclusion of liability form provided by the Promoter, in favour of the Promoter and all parties involved in this Promotion and/or providing the prize, before they participate in the Promotion and/or the prize.If they or their parent/guardian do not sign that form within the time specified by the Promoter, they will not be able to participate and the relevant entrant’s or winner’s entry or claim will be deemed invalid.Where an entry is declared invalid prior to the Prize Claim Date, the Promoter may determine a new winner in accordance with the Unclaimed Prize Details.
  36. If requested by the Promoter, entrants and winners (and their companion(s), if applicable) must participate in all promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding this Promotion or their winning of a prize, free of charge, and they consent to the Promoter and its associated companies and agencies using their name and image in promotional material, on the Promoter’s websites, social media platforms and in trade publications.
  37. If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion does not or is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion, or invalidate any affected entries, subject to the approval of the relevant gaming authorities, if required.
  38. The Promoter’s decisions in connection with the Promotion are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  39. Entrants acknowledge that there may be inherent risks in some aspects of the Promotion or the prize and that participation in the Promotion or accepting the prize may involve participating in dangerous activities.By entering this Promotion and/or accepting the prize, entrants accept that risk for themselves and for their companion(s) (if applicable).
  40. The Promoter, its associated agencies and companies and the agencies and companies associated with this Promotion will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion or accepting or using a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the maximum extent allowable by law).
  41. Prizes will only be delivered to addresses in Australia/New Zealand, as applicable.The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any damage to or delay in transit of prizes.
  42. The Promoter may at its absolute discretion prohibit an entrant’s participation in this Promotion, cancel or suspend a prize or otherwise cease to provide any prize to a winner if the entrant or winner (or any companion) is (in the Promoter’s opinion) under the influence of alcohol or drugs, behaves aggressively or disruptively, or behaves in a manner which may diminish the good name and reputation of the Promoter or its products and brands, or is contrary to law or is otherwise inappropriate.
  43. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings.Independent financial advice should be sought.
  44. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of these rights.
