Promotion
Entry into and participation in the Meadow Fresh Consumer Promotion - Steven Adams Basketball Camp Experience (Promotion) is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions which includes any information on how to enter and Prizes.
Who can enter?
Entry is open to residents of New Zealand who will be between 8-14 years of age (Eligible Entrant) on 1 August 2025, subject to these Terms and Conditions. You are not eligible to enter if you are an employee of the Promoter or its related corporations or agencies, or a member of an employee’s immediate family.
You must obtain the prior permission and consent of your legal parent or guardian to enter into this Promotion.
Promotion Period
The Promotion commences at 12:01AM NZDT on 2nd June 2025 and will close at 11:59PM NZST on 13 July 2025.
How to enter?
To be eligible to enter, you must:
- Purchase any Meadow Fresh product from a participating retailer (any retailer that stocks Meadow Fresh products during the Promotion Period) (Qualifying Transaction);
- Visit www.meadowfresh.co.nz/promotion;
- Fully complete and submit the online entry form with the following details: first name, last name, post code, mobile number, email address, child’s age, your chosen basketball camp location (selected from between Auckland, Christchurch, New Plymouth and Rotorua), the name of your school or club basketball team, and upload a scanned copy or photo of the receipt for the Qualifying Transaction. If the Qualifying Transaction is made from a Dairy that is unable to provide a proof of purchase (store receipt), you may submit a photo of your Meadow Fresh product, or a photo of your Meadow Fresh barcode (pictures submitted must show at least the last 4 digits of the barcode), in each case only for up to a maximum of ten entries during the Promotion Period, as proof of purchase.
All entries are subject to verification in accordance with these terms and conditions.
Multiple Entries Are Permitted, Subject to Following:
You may enter the Promotion multiple times, provided you follow the ‘How to enter?’ rules for each separate entry, including that only one (1) entry is permitted per Qualifying Transaction (regardless of whether your Qualifying Transaction included more than one (1) Meadow Fresh product), and each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with the entry requirements. You are not permitted to use any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows you to automatically enter or enter repeatedly. Any such entries will render all entries submitted by that person invalid. You are responsible for any associated costs of entry, including internet access and phone calls.
Records of purchase
The Promoter’s records of purchases made during the Promotion Period are final in respect of the satisfaction of the eligibility criteria.
Prize(s)
There are four (4) Prizes to be won. Each Prize consists of up to ten (10) passes to attend a Steven Adams basketball camp in one of four (4) locations in August 2025, and NZD $5,000 to be paid to the winner’s nominated school or club basketball team for equipment and gear upgrades. There will be one (1) winner drawn from the entries received for each of the four (4) locations of the basketball camps. Winners and their teammates must be children, aged between eight (8) and fourteen (14) as of 1 August 2025 to participate in a camp. Other incidental expenses such as travel to and from the winner’s home to the basketball camp, food and drinks, and other activities not organised by the Promoter will be at the cost of the winner and their chosen travel companions unless otherwise stated in these Terms and Conditions. The total Prize pool is valued at approx. $22,000 NZD (including tax). Prize(s) are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.
The dates and locations of the basketball camps will be as follows:
- Christchurch (Rolleston) - 5th August 2025
- New Plymouth - 8th August 2025
- Rotorua - 11th August 2025
- Auckland (Takanini) - 14th August 2025
. In the event a winner cannot attend the camp at their selected location on the relevant dates specified above, the winner’s Prize will be forfeited and awarded to a reserve entry drawn as an alternate winner.
Prize draw
The Prize draw will be held at 10AM NZST on Monday 14 July 2025 at the Promoter’s head office in Auckland. The Prize winners will be the first valid entries randomly drawn from all eligible entries for each of the four (4) camp locations, i.e., one (1) winner per camp. The Promoter reserves the right to draw additional reserve entries to be deemed as alternate winners in the event of a Prize forfeiture.
Notification to winner(s)
Winner(s) will be notified by email/phone using the email address/phone number provided by the Eligible Entrant on 14 July 2025.
Accepting the Prize
Following the notification to the winner, the winner will need to email [email protected] with their confirmed contact details and confirmation that they and their nominated teammates (up to a maximum of ten (10) (inclusive of the winner) to be advised by the winner) are able to accept the Prize and attend the Steven Adams basketball camp on the date notified to them by the Promoter. This will enable the Promoter to supply the Prize and will be deemed to be acceptance of the Prize. If a winner does not accept the Prize on or before 5pm, 18 July 2025, the Prize will be forfeited. For the avoidance of doubt, if a winner does not accept the Prize because they are unable to attend the basketball camp selected at the time of entry, the winner will not be entitled to claim the cash component of the Prize (being NZD $5,000 the winner’s school or club). The Promoter reserves the right to award any forfeited Prize to another Eligible Entrant from reserve entries drawn.
Your entry
You promise and warrant that all the details submitted with your entry are true and correct.
Receipt of entries
Neither the Promoter nor any other entity associated with this promotion will be responsible for any late, lost, misdirected, corrupted, incomplete, or incorrectly submitted entries. Entries are deemed to be submitted at the time of receipt by the Promoter or its agents.
Promoter’s rights:
The Promoter reserves the right to: provide an alternative prize of equal monetary value in the event that a Prize or any part of a Prize becomes unavailable for any reason beyond the Promoter's control; disallow entries in its absolute discretion; verify the validity of entries and determine the eligibility of entrants (including an entrant's identity) and to disqualify any entry or refuse to award a Prize where dishonest or misleading details have been given by an entrant, or where an entrant has behaved in a fraudulent or dishonest manner, or otherwise than in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or the spirit of the Promotion; to terminate this Promotion or amend any aspect of this Promotion (including the Prize) without notice at any time in its sole discretion in the event that this Promotion or any aspect of this Promotion cannot be reasonably conducted as planned; and enforce any of its rights at any stage and failure to do so does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
Exclusion
The winner acknowledges that travel and related activities can be inherently dangerous and agrees that they accept the Prize at their own risk. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is or may be suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is or may be suffered or sustained, in connection with participation in the promotion or accepting any Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. The winner and their chosen travel companions are solely responsible for complying with any applicable travel, health, or other government requirements and the terms of the Promoter’s chosen carrier (if applicable) in connection with accepting their Prize.
Indemnity
As a condition of participating in a promotion, each winner indemnifies the Promoter, all organisers, sponsors and all other persons and organisations associated in any way with that promotion against all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees on a solicitor and client basis) which the Promoter may incur arising out of the winner’s participation in the Promotion and/or participation in a Prize, howsoever caused.
Publicity
By entering the draw or accepting a Prize you consent to the use of your name, likeness, image, or voice in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purposes of the Promotion and promoting any products manufactured, supplied, or distributed by the Promoter.
Privacy
The information collected about entrants in the course of the Promotion has been requested to enable the Promoter to conduct the Promotion in accordance with these Terms and Conditions (including publicity), and for promotional purposes.
