Terms and conditions

1. Entry into this competition is deemed acceptance of these and any other applicable terms and conditions. This competition may have additional terms and conditions and wherever possible the additional terms and conditions will be posted at www.newworld.co.nz.

Promoters

2. The Promoters of this competition are Foodstuffs (N.Z.) Limited (‘Foodstuffs’) and Vinarchy New Zealand Limited (‘Supplier’) jointly (Promoters).

Promotion Period and how to enter

3. The competition commences on 03/08/26 and runs until close of trade on 30/08/26 (Promotion Period).

Eligible Purchase

4. You will receive one entry in the draw when you purchase any bottle from the Stoneleigh range during the Promotion Period and scan your Club+ card instore at the time of payment (Eligible Purchase) instore at all New World stores nationwide (Participating Stores). Purchases made online at newworld.co.nz/shop or through the New World mobile application are not Eligible Purchases.

When you make an Eligible Purchase you will automatically be entered into the draw.

5. You will only receive one entry into the competition even if you purchase multiple participating products in your Eligible Purchase.

Eligibility to enter and to win a prize

6. To be eligible to enter this competition and win a prize:

  • a) you cannot be an employee or contractor of a Participating Store or the Supplier;
  • b) you must have made an Eligible Purchase instore from a Participating Store;
  • c) you must be a current Club+ member;
  • d) you must be a New Zealand resident and 18 years of age or older;
  • e) you must consent to Foodstuffs using your name, photo, hometown and image for publicity and promotional purposes (including the display of your name in store) and you must make yourself available for publicity photographs relating to the competition on request for no additional compensation.

7. Entries which in the reasonable opinion of the Promoters:

  • a) are received outside the Promotion Period;
  • b) contain defamatory, offensive or inappropriate content or infringe intellectual property rights;
  • c) are incomplete or indecipherable; or
  • d) do not otherwise comply with these Terms and Conditions,

will be invalid and ineligible for any prize.

How winners will be selected

8. The prize winner will be drawn by Foodstuffs (or its agent) by 14/09/26 by random electronic selection from all entries. The first eligible winner drawn will win a VIP trip for 2 people (18+) to Auckland and the ASB Classic. There is one (1) prize valued up to $7,500 to be won. The total prize pool is valued at $7,500.

Prize Includes:

  • If the winner resides outside of Auckland, return Seat & Bag Airfares from winners nearest commercial NZ airport, to Auckland for 2 people (adults)
  • All Airline Taxes & Fees
  • Return Private Airport Transfers from Auckland airport to the accommodation (In Auckland)
  • 3x nights 5-star accommodation in Auckland (double or twin share)

Additional transfers to those specified and any Ground Operator Handling Fees are not included. Travel insurance is not included. Selection of airline, departure times and accommodation venue is at the Promoter’s discretion at the time of booking. Airline travel, airport transfers and accommodation are subject to the relevant supplier’s standard terms and conditions and the Promoter will not be liable for any act or omission of any third party providing those services. The Prize is not transferable, redeemable and may not be exchanged for cash.

If prize becomes unavailable

9. Subject to any applicable law that cannot be excluded, the Promoters are not responsible or liable for any loss suffered by any entrant in the event that a prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond its control. In this event, the Promoters may substitute a prize of their choice.

Notifying winners

10. Winners will be notified by Foodstuffs or the Supplier within 5 working days of the draw being completed to arrange delivery of the prize to a New Zealand residential address, via the contact details on record for the Club+ card used to enter the competition. In the event that a winner cannot be contacted within 5 working days of a draw occurring or if the Promoters determine that a winner is not eligible to participate in a draw the prize will be forfeited, a further draw will be conducted using the same eligibility criteria, and the prize allocated to the new winner.

11. The Promoters are not responsible if a winner cannot be contacted following the draw due to incorrect or out of date contact details being recorded in the Club+ system, and any such winner will forfeit the prize to the next eligible winner, on these Terms and Conditions.

Prize conditions

12. All travel is subject to availability at all times and may be dependent on select seat class with airlines or specific room category availability with an accommodation partner. The Winner must be available to travel from 30th December 2026 to 21st January 2027.

13. The winner must confirm his or her eligibility to be awarded the Prize, and to attend on the nominated date(s), within 60 days of being successfully notified by the Promoter, otherwise that winner’s entry will be deemed invalid and the Prize will be re-drawn.

14. The Prize must be taken on the dates nominated by the Promoter to coincide with the applicable redemption period/redemption date otherwise the entire Prize is forfeited. Reasonable notice of the departure date will be given to the event winner. No extension or variation of the Prize dates will be permitted. All components of the Prize must be taken together. Any element of the Prize not taken will be forfeited and not substituted.

15. All bookings and documentation regarding the prize must be made via Free-2-Travel Holidays Pty Ltd or their agents. Redeeming the prize is conditional on acceptance of the terms and conditions of travel as detailed by Free-2-Travel Holidays Pty Ltd and the airline carriers in accordance with normal travel practices.

16. Winner and companion must be over the age of 18+. The Travelling Companion must travel with the winner on the same itinerary (including, but not limited to, flights and transfers). The winner and his or her Travelling Companion may not accrue frequent flyer points. Use of the travel component and any passes or vouchers issued as part of a Prize may be subject to prevailing terms and conditions of use of the suppliers of components of a Prize. The travel component cannot be used in conjunction with travel discounts or special offers. Travel and accommodation will be arranged and booked on the winner’s behalf by the Promoter or an agent of the Promoter’s choosing. Once booked, changes to travel times or arrangements will be at the expense of the winner and the winner’s Travelling Companion

17. The costs of any alternative or additional travel will not be borne by the Promoter and any elements of the Prize not used will be forfeited and not substituted.

18. Winner is responsible for any amendment’s fees issued by airlines or suppliers once booking is confirmed and ticketed.

19. Winner is responsible for any additional taxes and/or resort fees associated with the chosen accommodation, unless otherwise stated.

20. Any additional spending money, meals (other than those included) and any other ancillary costs, including but not limited to insurance and any applicable insurance excesses, not listed in the travel prize package descriptions above are the responsibility of the travel prize winner and his/her nominated traveling companions as incurred. The winner and his or her Travelling Companion may be required to present a credit card and/or identification at time of accommodation check-in.

21. It is the winner's responsibility to organise transport to/from the airport departure/return point.

22. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or negotiable and are not redeemable for cash.

23. The prize draw results are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Verifying compliance with these terms

24. The Promoters reserve the right to verify the identity of any entrant (including an entrant's identity, age, city/town of residence and place of employment) and to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry or refuse to award a prize where false or misleading details have been given by an entrant, or an entrant has behaved in a fraudulent or dishonest manner, or otherwise than in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

Exclusion of liability

25. Subject to any applicable laws which cannot be excluded, Foodstuffs, any Participating Store, the Supplier, and their respective employees and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature incurred or suffered by any person (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with this competition or with winning, redeeming or benefiting from the prize.

Disputes

26. In the event of a dispute concerning any aspect of the competition including eligibility the decision of the Promoters will be final. No correspondence concerning any decision made by the Promoters will be entered into.

Additional terms

27. In addition to these Terms and Conditions, terms and conditions of your Club+ will also apply and can be viewed at clubplus.co.nz.

28. The Promoters reserve the right to amend, suspend or terminate the competition and these Terms and Conditions at any time.

29. Entries remain the property of the Promoters. Entrants license and grant the Promoters, their affiliates and sub-licensees a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, and sub-licensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish and display any content submitted in or with the entry for any purpose, including but not limited to future promotional, marketing or publicity purposes, in any media, without compensation, restriction on use, attribution or liability. Entrants consent to any dealings with their entry that may otherwise infringe any moral rights in the entry, to the extent permitted by law.

30. By submitting content as part of an entry to the competition, entrants release the Promoters, their respective employees, directors and officers from any and all liability for use and publication of the content, including any such liability that may arise under patent, trade mark, copyright, or any other applicable law. Entrants warrant that the content is their original work, that they are the sole author, and that they are able to provide the licence and releases required under these terms and conditions.

Privacy

31. Your personal information may be used to conduct this competition and for future promotional and publicity purposes in relation to this competition. By entering this competition, you consent to the use of your personal information for these purposes and we may use your personal information in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Foodstuffs’ Privacy Policy will apply to all personal information that Foodstuffs collects from you. The Supplier’s Privacy Policy https://vinarchy.com/pages/privacy-policy will apply to all personal information that is collected by, or shared with, the Supplier.
