1. Information on how to enter the competition forms part of the conditions of entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed as acceptance of its terms and conditions.
2. Conditions of Entry: Entry is only open to New Zealand residents who are current Air New Zealand Airpoints™ members aged 18 years or over. To enter, eligible entrants must:
• Have received the December Airpoints Update email addressed to them from Airpoints on Wednesday 11 December 2024 (the "Email") and;
• Spend $50 or more in a single transaction (excluding spend on Christmas Club deposits, Gift Cards, prepaid debit cards, travel card top ups, phone card top ups, tobacco products, New Zealand Lotteries tickets and purchases paid for through charge accounts) and scan your Airpoints card or Airpoints earning Clubcard at any New World supermarket, or ensure your Clubcard has been added to your online account for New World online shopping purchases. Only New World Clubcards are accepted within New World online shopping transactions during the Promotional Period.
3. Participation in the promotion is limited to one entry per eligible entrant, provided all conditions of entry (as stated in clause 2) are met.
4. Air New Zealand and Foodstuffs (together, the "Promoters") their employees and their immediate families, participating agents and their associated agencies are ineligible to enter. The Promoters reserve the right to verify the validity of entries.
5. Promotion commences at 12:00am, Wednesday 11 December 2024 and closes at 11:59pm, Sunday 15 December 2024 (the "Promotional Period"). Entries received after this closing time will be ineligible for entry.
6. One winner will be randomly drawn from one prize pool on or Tuesday 17 December 2024. Attempts will be made to notify the winner by the contact details provided in the member's Airpoints™ account. If the Promoters, having used reasonable efforts, are unable to contact the winner within 48 hours of the initial attempt at contact, then the prize is forfeited, and an alternative winner will be selected at random. The Promoters’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
7. The first valid entry drawn will win 5,000 Airpoints Dollars™ and a $1,000 New World Gift Card.
8. The prize cannot be converted into cash and is not transferable.
9. The Promoters accept no responsibility for any variation in prize value.
10. The Promoters reserve the right to substitute the prize in whole (or any of its components), with a substitute prize of equal or greater value.
11. The Promoters assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries. The Promoters assume no responsibility for any injury or damage to participants or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in this promotion.
12. Neither the Promoters nor any other person or party associated with this promotion shall be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with either participation in this promotion or with any prizes offered.
13. The Promoters collect entrants' personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion.
