New World Club+ My Offers - Terms and Conditions

1. Foodstuffs (N.Z.) Limited (“Foodstuffs”) may offer personalised offers for eligible Club+ members (“Club+ Members” or “you”) from time to time in conjunction with participating New World stores. Personalised offers are not available in PAK’nSAVE or Four Square stores (instore or online).
2. Personalised offers may offer you the ability to earn bonus Club+ Dollars if you meet the conditions set out below at clause 7 for each Offer.
3. Offers will be communicated to eligible Club+ Members via email and/or the New World mobile application (“Offer Notice”).
4. By participating in an Offer, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
5. We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time and we will tell you about a change by updating the “last updated” date on our website. Unless otherwise stated, any changes to the Terms & Conditions will take effect immediately upon being placed on the website and your participation in an Offer following the “last updated” date will represent an agreement by you to be bound by the Terms and Conditions as amended.
Promotion Period
6. Offers are valid during the period notified when the Offer is communicated to eligible Club+ Members (“Promotion Period”).
Activating the Offer and Qualifying Conditions
7. To be eligible to earn the bonus Club+ Dollars communicated, you must:
a. Activate the offer by clicking the ‘Activate’ button in the New World app; and
b. After the Offer has been activated in accordance with clause 7(a) you must scan your Club+ card instore at the time of payment or make the eligible purchase online; and meet the below qualifying conditions (“Qualifying Conditions”) for each type of offer detailed below (each an “Offer”). You must be registered as a Club+ member to use the New World online shopping service. Offer types:
- Category Offer: spend the minimum amount notified in the Offer Notice in single or multiple transactions (whichever is specified) during the Promotion Period on products from the applicable grocery category notified in the Offer Notice (as that category is defined in the Schedule to these Terms & Conditions) at New World stores nationwide plus online at newworld.co.nz/shop and through the New World mobile application. Specific categories have exclusions listed in the Schedule to these terms and conditions (“Excluded Products”) which are not included as part of the Category Offer.
- Visit Offer: Spend the minimum amount during each separate required transaction on separate visits as notified in the Offer Notice during the Promotion Period at New World stores nationwide plus online at newworld.co.nz/shop and through the New World mobile application.
- Product Offer: Purchase the minimum number of specified products as set out in the Offer Notice during the Promotion Period at New World stores nationwide plus online at newworld.co.nz/shop and through the New World mobile application;
- Spend Offer: Spend the minimum amount notified in the Offer Notice during the Promotion Period at New World stores nationwide plus online at newworld.co.nz/shop and through the New World mobile application. The minimum amount may be achieved over multiple separate transactions or a single transaction, whichever is specified, during the Promotion Period which you will be notified of in the Offer Notice.
8. Spend on the following do not qualify for any of the Offers: Christmas Club deposits, gift cards, prepaid debit cards, travel card top ups, phone card top ups, tobacco and other smoking products, New Zealand Lotteries tickets, fuel, donations, NZ Post products and service fees, online delivery, click and collect and bag fees, gas bottle exchanges, and any other fees, deposits and purchases that may be determined by us from time to time.
9. For purchases made online through newworld.co.nz/shop or the New World mobile application, orders must be submitted (and any editing completed) during the Promotion Period to qualify for the offer. You must meet the other Qualifying Conditions at the time of your final invoice (at collection or delivery). The final invoice contains the final order value which is the actual price you will pay for your order and may change from the estimated order value. See clause 2.4 of the Online Shopping Terms and Conditions for reasons your final order value may have changed.
10. Foodstuffs reserves the right to change the Qualifying Conditions, category definitions or Excluded Products at its discretion.
Earning Bonus Club+ Dollars
11. Once you have activated the Offer and have met the conditions for each Offer as set out in clause 7 above, you will automatically be eligible to earn the bonus Club+ Dollars communicated in the Offer Notice.
12. Bonus Club+ Dollars will be automatically loaded onto eligible Club+ Members Club+ accounts.
Eligibility
13. To be eligible to participate in an Offer and earn the bonus Club+ Dollars offered:
a. you must have activated the Offer and met the Qualifying Conditions in accordance with clause 7;
b. you must be a current Club+ member who has received the Category Offer Notice;
c. you must consent to Foodstuffs using your name, photo, hometown and image for publicity and promotional purposes (including the display of your name in store) and you must make yourself available for publicity photographs relating to the promotion on request for no additional compensation.
14. In addition to these terms and conditions, Club+ Terms and Conditions and Online Shopping Terms and Conditions apply.
15. Club+ Terms and Conditions will apply to any bonus Club+ Dollars earned as a result of participating in an Offer.
16. Additional terms and conditions may apply to each Offer which will be included in the Offer Notice.
17. Foodstuffs reserves the right to amend, suspend or terminate an Offer, these Terms and Conditions and/or additional Offer Terms and Conditions at any time.
Verifying compliance with these terms
18. Foodstuffs reserves the right to verify the identity of any participant (including a participant's identity, age, city/town of residence and place of employment) and to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry or refuse to award bonus Club+ Dollars where false or misleading details have been given by a participant, or a participant has behaved in a fraudulent or dishonest manner, or otherwise than in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
Exclusion of liability
19. Subject to any applicable laws which cannot be excluded, Foodstuffs, any New World store, their respective employees and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature incurred or suffered by any person (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with this promotion or with winning, earning, redeeming or benefiting from the bonus Club+ Dollars.
Disputes
20. In the event of a dispute concerning any aspect of the promotion including eligibility the decision of Foodstuffs will be final. No correspondence concerning any decision made by Foodstuffs will be entered into.
Privacy
21. All information submitted in conjunction with this promotion remains the property of Foodstuffs. Your personal information may be used to conduct this promotion and for future promotional and publicity purposes in relation to this promotion. By entering this competition, you consent to the use of your personal information for these purposes. Foodstuffs’ Privacy Policy will apply to all personal information that we collect from you.

All products are subject to availability and product limits and/or promotional restrictions may apply. Age & purchase eligibility restrictions may also apply.
1. Butchery
a. Includes fresh meat from the butchery department including beef, lamb, chicken, mutton, offal, pork, duck, venison and bacon.
b. Excludes frozen meats, meat marinades & rubs, seafood, pet food, products sold over the deli counter, plant-based meat alternatives, butchery related gift baskets and any butchery products for catering purposes.
2. Fresh Fruit & Vege
a. Includes fresh fruits and vegetables from the produce section.
b. Excludes frozen fruit & vegetables, canned fruit & vegetables, dried fruits and nuts and produce related gift baskets and any produce products for catering purposes.
3. Chocolate & Lollies
a. Includes chocolates, lollies, gum and gift confectionery.
b. Excludes ice cream, fruits & nuts, seasonal confectionary (i.e. Easter Eggs and Candy Canes) and gift boxes containing confectionary.
4. Beauty & Personal Care
a. Includes beauty & personal care items including cosmetics, deodorants, fragrances, hair care, oral care, period care, skin care, shaving items, sun care, nutritional products and vitamins.
b. Excludes medicines, cough & cold relief, first aid products and family planning items.
5. Snacks
a. Includes chips, popcorn and pre-packaged dried nuts and fruits.
b. Excludes muesli bars (and other cereal type bars) and dried fruit, nuts & seeds for baking purposes.
6. Beverages
a. Includes non-alcoholic chilled beverages such as fruit drinks and non-alcoholic, non-chilled beverages including tea, coffee, soft drinks, energy drinks & water.
b. Excludes alcoholic beverages and 0% or low alcohol alternatives and liquid breakfasts.
7. Pet
a. Includes pet food and related supplies including treatments, toys, litter, and accessories.
8. Dairy
a. Includes chilled dairy-based products such as butter, spreads, cheese, milk, cream and yoghurts.
b. Excludes frozen dairy products including ice cream, chilled beverages, non-dairy based milks (e.g. oat milk), powdered dairy products (e.g. milk powder, yoghurt powder) and egg and egg white-based products.
9. Frozen
a. Includes all frozen products in frozen bakery, frozen butchery, Ice cream, desserts, frozen meal solutions, frozen pastry, frozen vegetables and potato, frozen seafood and frozen pet food.
10. Baking
a. Includes baking dried fruit, nuts & seeds, baking mixes, coatings, flour, sugar and sweeteners and baking decorations.
b. Excludes dried fruit and nuts from snacking department & produce department
11. Paper Essentials
a. Includes toilet rolls, paper towels and facial tissues.
b. Excludes printer paper, stationary, gift and greeting cards, wrapping paper, gift bags.
12. Biscuits & Crackers
a. Includes sweet biscuits, savoury biscuits, cookies, biscuit assortments, crispbreads, rice crackers, rice cakes and crackers.
b. Excludes tarts, cakes, cakes slices, fruit cakes, pastries, bread, instore bakery, biscuits in Deli and baking ingredients.
13. Breakfast Cereals
a. Includes cereals, cornflakes, oats, muesli, granola, and bran to gluten-free choices, liquid breakfasts, and convenient single-serve packs.
b. Excludes Spreads.
14. Condiments
a. Includes mayonnaise and related products (aioli, flavoured mayonnaise), dressings (salad, plant-based, other), sauces (apple, BBQ, chilli, mint, mustard, soy, tomato, Worcestershire, specialty, table, PCU), and vinegars (balsamic, cider, flavoured, malt, white, wine)
b. Excludes olives, pickles, relishes, and oil.
15. Cooking sauces and marinades
a. Includes marinades, rubs, and sauces (Asian, Indian, pasta, pesto, simmer, and international) gravies, recipe mixes, tomato pastes, cooking wines, and stocks in chilled, dry, wet, and concentrated forms, include chilled sauce.
16. Food wrap and storage
a. Includes compostable and resealable bags, cooking and food storage bags (including reusable options), rubbish bags, foil, paper and plastic wraps, and plastic trays.
17. Herbs and Spices
a. Includes a full range of herbs, spices, and seasonings – from dry and wet varieties, curry powders, international blends, and recipe mixes to salt, pepper, grinders, and specialty mixes.
b. Excludes Fresh Herbs & Spices from Produce department
18. Cleaning products

a. Includes convenient meal options from canned baked beans, canned spaghetti, canned fish and meats, instant noodles, noodle cups and multipacks, meal kits, instant pasta and instant rice.
