In our Pukekohe area we are fortunate to be surrounded by an abundance of New Zealand's most fertile soils, and this gives us an incredible ‘paddock to plate’ opportunity - especially with having so many expert produce growers right on our 'doorstep'. New World Pukekohe is a business with a strong value driven culture, that takes all opportunities to engage with our local community.

New World Pukekohe Additional Needs programme

New World Pukekohe is thrilled to be the first retailer in New Zealand to offer an adaptive Additional Needs shopping environment. We offer a full low sensory and quiet store with reduced lighting, reduced noise in-store, no checkout beeping, no music and no PA announcements.

We know that sometimes it’s hard enough just getting through the day and decided that one hour once a week wasn’t enough so we are offering our Additional Needs shopping environment every Monday – Thursday, 2.30pm – 5.30pm to give more flexibility and choice to fit the lifestyles of those in our community.
