From time to time you’ll see offers in your New World app. Simply choose the ones you want to activate in your app then shop, either in-store or online. Meet the requirements of the offer, and you’ll be rewarded with bonus New World Dollars on your Clubcard.
The New World app is your go-to place to find, activate, and track offers and rewards. Using the app means you’ll get your bonus New World Dollars automatically as soon as you’ve earned them.
Make sure you’re on app version 4.31 or later, and you’re good to go!
Before you shop, tap ‘activate’ in the New World app, see what you need to do to earn your reward and scan your Clubcard at checkout or have your Clubcard registered to your New World online shopping account. Once you have achieved the offer criteria, your bonus New World Dollars will be added to your Clubcard account automatically.
If you’re earning Airpoints Dollars™, your bonus New World Dollars will go towards your next 5 Airpoints Dollars conversion in accordance with the Clubcard terms and conditions.
Your bonus New World Dollars will be added to your account automatically once you’ve met the promotional terms of each offer. You can find the full terms and conditions for each offer in your New World app.
Absolutely! If your Clubcard is linked to your Online Shopping account and you pay for your order before the promotion ends, it will count towards the offer.
As soon as you have achieved the promotional criteria for the offer, it will disappear from the app. You will instantly be able to see in your account the reward you earned. You will not be able to see the offer once the promotional period has ended.
Also, double check that you’re signed up as a Clubcard member. If you are, check that your app is up to date with version 4.31 or later.
Yes! You can still receive My Offers if your chosen currency is Airpoints Dollars – every 5 New World Dollars will automatically convert to 5 Airpoints Dollars In accordance with the Clubcard terms and conditions.
Yes! – just make sure you’ve signed up to Clubcard and downloaded the app.
You cannot earn New World Dollars when you buy:
- Fuel,
- Gift cards,
- Donations,
- Prepaid debit cards,
- Travel card top ups,
- Phone card top ups,
- Christmas Club deposits,
- New Zealand Lotteries tickets,
- Tobacco and other smoking products, and
- Purchases paid through charge accounts.
You can check your balance in a few places:
- Your New World app,
- Your Clubcard email,
- Your Clubcard account at clubcard.co.nz, or
- Self-checkout screens in North Island New World stores.
You can use New World Dollars as a form of payment instore or online at New World stores nationwide. 1 New World Dollar is equivalent in value to 1 New Zealand Dollar (NWD 1 = $1 NZD) when used in New World stores. You can use either your digital or physical Clubcard to spend New World Dollars. For example, if you have a balance of 10 New World Dollars, you can spend these on $10 worth of qualifying* groceries at New World.

Please note, if you’ve chosen to earn Airpoints Dollars with your Clubcard, New World Dollars that have not converted to Airpoints Dollars (i.e. New World Dollars below the 5 New World Dollars conversion threshold) will show in your account balance as New World Dollars, but those New World Dollars cannot be spent in store or online (i.e. they remain on your account until the next time your New World Dollars balance meets or exceeds 5 New World Dollars).
