Know where to get help when you need it

During these difficult times you may find that yourself, friends, children, whānau or neighbours may be feeling more isolated and stressed, so we want to ensure everyone can access services that are there to help, whatever the situation.

Oranga Tamariki

Help keep children safe. Worried about a child’s ongoing safety? Call Oranga Tamariki on 0508 FAMILY (0508 326 459) or email [email protected] If you know a child in imminent danger, call NZ Police on 111.

Shielded site

Victims of domestic violence can access a shielded portal through which they can contact Women’s Refuge, find out how to make a plan to safely get out of a dangerous situation, learn how to stay safe online and get answers about what comes next – all without fear of it showing up in their browser history. You’ll find the shielded site button at the very bottom of any web page.

Student Volunteer Army

The volunteer delivery service is there to shop and deliver groceries during Alert Levels 1-4 for those aged 65+, anyone who may be vulnerable, and essential workers.
