Carrot, potato and parsnip purée - stage 2 baby food
Root vegetables like carrot and parsnip have a natural sweetness loved by babies. Don’t use a food processor on this recipe as the potato will turn to glue, so a sieve or mouli is best.

- 175g Carrots
- 175g Potatoes
- 125g Parsnips
Back to ingredients
- Peel and chop the carrots, potatoes and parsnips and put them into a saucepan.
- Just cover with water and boil for about 20 minutes, until tender.
- Using some of the cooking water blend to a purée to the appropriate consistency.
