Pear and prune purée - stage 2 baby food
Useful as a source of fibre, the prunes will get anything moving! The good news is that it tastes good too, although younger babies may prefer this purée mixed with baby rice.
- 2 Pears
- 2 Dried prunes
- Peel, core and chop the pears and put into a saucepan with a little water.
- Add the stoned, chopped dried prunes.
- Simmer for 5-7 minutes.
- Blend to a purée to the appropriate consistency.
- Sieve to get rid of the tough prune skins.
