Plum or apricot and pear - stage 2 baby food
A lovely summer purée made with seasonal fruits. Choose nice ripe soft pears and perfectly ripe plums or apricots. Pears and ripe when they smell fragrant and yield to gentle pressure at the stem end.
- 1 plum or apricot
- 1 pear
- Peel and stone a ripe plum or apricot and purée the flesh.
- Mix with mashed soft ripe pear.
- If the fruit isn't perfectly soft, you can always cook it in a little water for 5 minutes before pureeing.
