Indian-Inspired Curried Beef
A simple but flavoursome meal even the fussiest of eaters will enjoy. Inspired by warming Indian flavours, you’ll be surprised by how quickly this delicious meal comes together! Perfect when served simply with rice, or step it up a notch and add a serving of warmed buttered naan.

1 onion, diced

4 garlic cloves, minced

2 Tbsp grated fresh ginger

500g prime beef mince

3 tsp garam masala

1 tsp chilli powder

3 tsp ground cumin

2 tsp turmeric

½ cup beef stock
Method

Heat a generous drizzle of oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Sauté the onion, garlic and ginger for 3-4 minutes, or until the onion has softened.

Add the beef mince and cook for 6-8 minutes or until browned.

Stir in the garam masala, chilli powder, ground cumin and turmeric and cook for a further few minutes, or until fragrant.

Pour in the beef stock and bring to a simmer.

Once simmering, cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until most of the liquid has evaporated.
Top tip: Add a pop of freshness to this meal by topping it with fresh coriander or parsley.
