
Marinated eye fillet steak

Ingredients
4 beef eye fillet steaks
1 Tbsp plum sauce (Delmaine)
1 Tbsp sweet chilli sauce
1 tsp fish sauce
1 tsp brown sugar (or honey)
Half tsp red curry paste
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 cm piece ginger, grated
Sprinkle of salt & pepper
Method
In a bowl combine plum sauce, sweet chilli sauce, fish sauce, sugar, curry paste, garlic, ginger, salt & pepper. Mix well.
Add steaks and coat in marinade. Cover and refrigerate for a couple of hours.
Heat a little oil in a fry pan on high heat, pick up steaks with tongs and shake most of the marinade off then cook to your liking (about 3-4 mins each side).
