
Feijoa cream

Feijoas are really versatile and can be used in both sweet and savory dishes. This NZ grown fruit is in season from April to June - So give this delicious recipe a try and make the most of feijoa season.

Ingredients
3-4 feijoas
chopped walnuts
225g plain yoghurt
4 Tbsp skimmed milk powder
1-2 Tbsp clear honey
Method
Peel the feijoas.
Press through a sieve.
Place all ingredients, except walnuts, in blender and blend until smooth.
Pour into glasses.
Chill until set.
Serve with chopped walnuts sprinkled on top.
Tips:
Looking for a dairy free option? Use your favourite dairy free yoghurt instead of greek yoghurt, and swap out the milk powder for almond, oat, or soy milk!
