Spicy shrimp curry

Easy to cook and so tasty this one will become a regular feature on your menu.

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp olive oil

  • 1 small onion chopped

  • 1 tsp cumin seeds

  • 1 tsp fenugreek seeds

  • 1 tsp crushed ginger

  • 1 tsp crushed chillies (add according to taste)

  • 2 tsp crushed garlic

  • 1 tsp turmeric powder

  • 2 tsp garam masala

  • 300g Frozen Cooked Shrimps

  • Salt to taste

  • 2 cups water

Method

  1. Heat oil in a pan.

  2. Add onions, cumin and fenugreek seeds and cook for a few minutes.

  3. Add the ginger, chillies and garlic and then the turmeric and garam masala powder.

  4. Add the shrimps and salt to taste. Cook for 5 minutes on low heat then add 2 cups of water.

  5. Bring to the boil and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes until the sauce thickens.

  6. Serve with rice.
