Sticky sriracha meatballs

A warm and wonderful weeknight meal with a touch of spice! These succulent pork meatballs are cooked until caramelised and coated in a sweet, sticky sriracha sauce.

  • 500g pork mince  
  • 1 onion, grated 
  • 1 egg, beaten  
  • ½ cup Pams Panko Breadcrumbs  
  • 1 Tbsp oyster sauce  
  • ⅓ cup sriracha sauce  
  • ½ cup chicken stock  
  • ¼ cup Pams Squeezable Honey 

Method

 

 

  1. In a bowl, mix together the pork mince, onion, egg, breadcrumbs and oyster sauce. Add half of the sriracha and half of the honey, then season with pepper.  
  2. Roll into balls, then pan-fry in batches with a drizzle of oil for 2 - 3 minutes on each side or until almost cooked through.  
  3. Return all meatballs to the pan, then pour over the remaining sriracha, honey and the chicken stock.  
  4. Gently stir to combine and simmer for a few minutes until the sauce has thickened and coats the meatballs. Serve while hot with your choice of sides, and enjoy! 

Top tip: We serve these meatballs with fluffy jasmine rice, crisp slaw and a sprinkle of sliced spring onion for a delectable meal solution.
