Moroccan trail mix

"I'm hung---" have snacks at the ready before they can even finish. These quick options are ideal for hungry homeworkers and adults alike. 



  • 2 cups mixed nuts
  • 1 Tbsp Morrocan spice
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup pretzels
  • 1 cup dried apricots, roughly chopped
  • Pinch of salt

  1. In a bowl, combine mixed nuts, Morrocan spice mix, honey, olive oil and a pinch of salt. Scatter onto a tray, and bake at 160 degrees celsius for 8 - 15 minutes or until golden. 
  2. Leave to cool, and mix with pretzels and dried apricot pieces. 

Trick: make this trail mix at the start of the week and store in an airtight container (for up to 4 days) for a quick and handy snack throughout the weekdays.
