Moroccan trail mix
"I'm hung---" have snacks at the ready before they can even finish. These quick options are ideal for hungry homeworkers and adults alike.
- 2 cups mixed nuts
- 1 Tbsp Morrocan spice
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup pretzels
- 1 cup dried apricots, roughly chopped
- Pinch of salt
- In a bowl, combine mixed nuts, Morrocan spice mix, honey, olive oil and a pinch of salt. Scatter onto a tray, and bake at 180 degrees celsius for 10 - 15 minutes or until golden.
- Leave to cool, and mix with pretzels and dried apricot pieces.
Trick: make this trail mix at the start of the week and store in an airtight container (for up to 4 days) for a quick and handy snack throughout the weekdays.
