Promoter 

1. Foodstuffs (N.Z.) Limited (Foodstuffs) is the promoter of the New World Win Like a Pro Promotion (Promotion). 

2. By participating in this Promotion, you agree to these terms and conditions. 

Promotion Period  

3. The Promotion runs from 12.00am Monday 13 July 2026 – 11.59pm Sunday 04 October 2026 (Promotion Period).

 4. There are twelve (12) separate prize draws throughout the Promotion Period, as detailed in clause 13 below. 

How to Enter  

5. You will receive one entry in the draw when you make an eligible purchase (excluding spend on Christmas Club deposits, gift cards, prepaid debit cards, travel card top ups, phone card top ups, tobacco and other smoking products, New Zealand Lotteries tickets, fuel, donations, NZ post products and service fees, service and bag fees for delivery and click and collect orders, gas bottle exchanges and purchases paid for through charge accounts or any purchases intended for wholesale or resale) during the Promotion Period and scan your Club+ card instore at the time of payment, or make an online purchase through newworld.co.nz or the New World mobile application (Eligible Purchase) at all New World stores nationwide. You must register as a Club+ member to use the New World online shopping service. 

 6. You will receive one entry into the draw each time you make an Eligible Purchase in a separate transaction. 

 7. When you make an Eligible Purchase you will automatically be entered into the draw. 

Prizes 

8. There are 12 prizes to be won in total across the full duration of the Promotion Period. Each prize is as follows: 

 9. Prizes are evenly divided across the Promotion Period, with a Prize available to be won at the end of each week (as detailed in clause 13) during the Promotion Period. 

 10. Please note that this means at the time you enter the Promotion some Prizes may have already been won.  

Eligibility to Enter and to Win a Prize 

11. To be eligible to win a Prize you must:

1. be a current Club+ member; 
2. be a New Zealand resident and 18 years of age or older; and
3. consent to Foodstuffs using your name, photo, hometown and image for publicity and promotional purposes (including the display of your name in store) and you must make yourself available for publicity photographs relating to the competition on request for no additional compensation.

 12. Entries which in the reasonable opinion of Foodstuffs: 

1. are received outside the Promotion Period; or 
2. do not otherwise comply with these Terms and Conditions, 

will be invalid and ineligible for any prize.  

How winners will be selected  

 13. The prize winners will be drawn by Foodstuffs (or its agent) by random electronic selection on the Prize Draw Date from all eligible entries received during the preceding week as detailed below: 

Notifying winners 

 14. Winners will be notified by Foodstuffs within 5 working days of each draw being completed via the contact details on record for the Club+ account used to enter the competition. In the event that a winner cannot be contacted within 5 working days of a draw occurring or if Foodstuffs determines that a winner is not eligible to participate in a draw the prize will be forfeited, a further draw will be conducted using the same eligibility criteria, and the prize allocated to the new winner.

15. Foodstuffs is not responsible if a winner cannot be contacted following the draw due to incorrect or out of date contact details being recorded the Club+ system, and any such winner will forfeit the prize to the next eligible winner, on these Terms and Conditions. 

 16. Once Foodstuffs has successfully contacted a winner in accordance with these terms and conditions, Foodstuffs will request and you must provide a valid residential delivery address for the delivery of the Prize. SMEG New Zealand is responsible for the delivery of the prize to the nominated address and the winner’s details will be shared with SMEG New Zealand for the purpose of fulfilling delivery of the Prize. 

Prize conditions 

17. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or negotiable and are not redeemable for cash. 

 18. The prize draw results are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

 19. Foodstuffs reserves the right to substitute a Prize in whole (or in part) with a substitute prize of equal or greater value. 

 20. Winners can only be awarded one prize. If a winner is drawn for any additional prize, the prize will be forfeited, a further draw will be conducted, and the prize allocated to the new winner.

Verifying compliance with these terms 

21. Foodstuffs and/or its agents reserve the right, at any time, to verify the identity of any entrant (including an entrant's identity, age, city/town of residence and place of employment) and to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry or refuse to award a prize where false or misleading details have been given by an entrant, or an entrant has behaved in a fraudulent or dishonest manner calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the Promotion, or otherwise than in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Errors and omissions may be accepted at Foodstuffs’ discretion. Failure by Foodstuffs to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. Foodstuffs’ legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved. 

Exclusion of liability 

22. Subject to any applicable laws which cannot be excluded, Foodstuffs and each New World store, their respective employees and agents:

1. assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to alteration of entries; and
2. will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature incurred or suffered by any person (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with this Promotion
3. The SMEG Prizes require specific instructions which you will receive if you win a SMEG Prize.  It is your duty to comply with the care instructions. Subject to any applicable laws which cannot be excluded and without limiting clause 22(b), Foodstuffs and each New World store, their respective employees and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature suffered by any person (including indirect or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) in relation to the SMEG Prizes if the care instructions are not followed. 

23. Foodstuffs may, in its sole discretion, refuse to award a Prize if it believes that a customer has behaved in a fraudulent or dishonest manner, or otherwise than in accordance with these terms and conditions. 

Disputes 

24. In the event of a dispute concerning any aspect of the promotion the decision of Foodstuffs and its agents will be final. No correspondence concerning any decision made by Foodstuffs or its agents will be entered into.

Additional terms  

25. New World Clubcard will be accepted in lieu of a Club+ card until 11.59pm Sunday 26 July 2026. 

 26. In addition to these terms and conditions, Club+ Terms and Conditions will also apply. 

 27. Foodstuffs reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate this Promotion or these terms and conditions at any time.

Privacy  

28. All entries remain the property of Foodstuffs.  Your personal information may be used to conduct this competition and for future promotional and publicity purposes in relation to this competition.  By entering this competition, you consent to the use of your personal information for these purposes. Foodstuffs’ Supermarkets Privacy Policy will apply to all personal information that we collect from you.
