The Turner family have been servicing the needs of the friendly folk in Fendalton and northwest Christchurch since 1936. Current owners James and Richard Turner continue in their family’s footsteps, working alongside our great team to bring our customers the best, every day!

In Memory of Jim:

Jim Turner or Gentleman Jim as he was known to those who knew him best was in the Grocery business his entire life. He believed in delivering good old fashioned service with a smile.

With this attitude to customers New World Fendalton became a successful supermarket where people enjoy their weekly shopping and in some cases have been doing so for generations.

Community Involvement

At New World Fendalton, we love to get involved in our community.  As a proud Gold Supporter of the Foodstuffs Community Trust, we help provide sponsorship to communities in need. Grants have been provided towards Community Welfare, Education, and for Cultural and Recreational needs.
